Dense or not, people will still pay them a monthly fee, why change or listen to anyone if people are going to continue to pay? From SE's point of view they probably think they're doing a good enough job since so many people continue to pay monthly many who pay for multiple accounts per month. My friend wanted to give XI a try and he knew I used to play it so when he asked me what I thought about this game I let him browse this thread using my computer and it was enough to convince him that the game doesn't even deserve one second of his time and decided to buy SW:TOR.

A potential player who has no history of what the game used to be like took less than ten minutes to decide that he doesn't want to play a game where the dev's don't listen and add shit that the players seem to hate.

Seriously the FACT itself that the item drops from Pandemonium warden is garbage (infact I am ready to believe that screenshot because noone has found the upgrade items yet, and SE stated they are allready in the game, how many times do people fight PW?), 2. The FACT that not the killshot but an item is needed to upgrade is utter failure on itself, especially for a mob like PW, where farming a pop for it is really time consumeing. Now the number on the Test server was 500 for mythics... yeah good luck finishing that mythic in maybe 3 years, and thats when you are doing ZNM constantly... Even if the number is as low as 5 and you have maybe 3 mythics in your shell, you are looking at 15+ PW fights, because I seriously dont believe that thing will drop 100% in all fight, knowing SE...

No, it's been confirmed for a while. Just check the drop thread. Nightfyre got 1 single drop from PW. I'm pretty sure people have also seen the items for Empyrean upgrades drop from the T6 Jeuno VWNMs, the impy DL thing and the giant flan king.
