I know that it CAN be done via a third party app, but that the JP's have it in their client specifically without resorting to third parties.
So for popping NM's in abyssea or wherever that takes more than one item, they have the advantage -- But that if we wanted to do it, it'd be instabanned because it's a third party app for us.
Maybe I was told wrong, but when we were popping uhh what was it... Amarok? JP ran up and it just spawned instantly. I was confused at first but that's what I was told anyway.
I've never heard that. It sounds like whoever told you it has some JP envy and a little "y u claim so fast bro?"-phobia. The JPs use bots too. If they were incredibly fast, they were probably botting.
pffft,. Perhaps you should reevaluate your ability to take a joke. because I didn't really want you to blow me.
I mean, Making up things to pin on me is shameful. Bad English? nonsense. Bad typing skills? Admittedly, yes. Bad at explaining my thoughts? I also admit.
But i speck perfuct englesh.
But yah, If its one big flaw i admit? I can't tell when people are being sarcastic on the Internet - Ever. Its one ability i never developed. So, to end this babble-fest. Sorry Julian, I still love you, and sorry.
And for what its worth, I thought your joke was funny
On topic:
I'm on my way, I feel like posting that "Its Nerf or Nothing" Picture i just saw here... Made me laugh so hard.
I still mildly enjoy the game.
But i play less and less and less as of late... Occupied with Skyrim, Saints Row III, some DS games... Basically i find less and less reasons to play each and every day. because its back to boring grind-fests and no drops...
I mean, I enjoy Voidwatch, A little, The challenge and fights are fun, and its easily accessible... But the no drops is crushing even my interests.
So, Honestly, I can't see myself playing much longer with how the game is going. Especially with all the Nerfs flying around and horrible drop rates. Their Business/Game plan is retarded, and the Official forums are a charade at best.
We just need one more step fto bring 99 cap right back to what 75 was and that is the introduction of world spawn 20-26hr pop HNMs.
I await Tanaka's next move.
The drama was at least fun. Plus you know, we still got the goods. If they did, I'd at least hope it was in one small room we can all crowd in and not all over the world.
I don't know what else you'd call what SE has been doing to the player base, lol.
The game isn't that bad, if it was there would be 0 people playing it. Look at FFXIV if you wanna see your example to be true.
Doesn't really compare. FFXIV is a new game so no one has attachment to it like they do with FFXI which people have played for years. Also, no connections with other people as much as one would in FFXI.
I don't know if you can say that with a straight face, Tanaka ran 14 into the ground, sure the suits didn't help by forcing it to be released 1.5 years too early but the stuff that did make it into the game was terribly designed. I kinda wonder what XI would have been had someone else were the director/producer who actually dabbled into the other MMO's out on the market, oh, right, he works for XIV and his name is Yoshida.
Lordender, you jump between the XI and XIV section and just argue with everybody about how much both games suck and how you hate them and they're the worst thing ever. We fucking get it, we all understand that you hate both games, you can go away now.
I don't dislike FFXI. I enjoy playing it. I think a lot of things could have been implemented better, but I'm long past the point of giving too many shits about it. Voidwatch loot system is ass in many regards, but it removes a lot of potential headache from the equation as well which I'm thankful for. As long as my reasons for doing Voidwatch are limited to "Because it's fun" and "Because it's something to do while BS'ing with a bunch of friends" and not "Because I freaking need Meikogi right the fuck now", I feel like I'll stay fairly sane.
Yeah, some of the shit they're pulling is genuinely annoying and some of it pisses me off, but it doesn't affect my enjoyment of the game so there's no reason for me to quit.
The "abusive relationship" analogy is one of the stupidest arguments I've ever heard, and I've been hearing it for years. If you equate an MMO developer making changes to their game that you dislike with being routinely physically and/or psychologically abused and intimidated by a partner then it sounds like you're the one with issues. Get some bloody perspective.
Yeah. all real life analogies are bad.
Maybe its an extreme example, but the point behind it is, many people stay and pay for their accounts because they are attached to the game. They really have no reason to keep paying for it other then they are used to it or that really don't think they have any other MMO to go to.
