    agreed.

    He definitely has someone to call, but it won't be the devs. Probably his supervisor, who reports to like PR or something. Its a big corp so they belong to entirely different chains of command, so to speak. Only difference is that devs are now more vocal than intended to be.

    Also basically because he is just a forum rep, he can only relay messages and cannot directly influence it in any way other than his intended role (relaying feedback and delivering announcemts). In other words, they aren't given any form of empowerment in areas relating to game development insights. The scope of their power probably lies within the OF framework only

    Except when the people you call have rules limiting what they can and cannot tell you. I've worked at places before where I was fully aware of why services in a specific area are out, but can only repeat one sentence and not deviate from the company line in anyway.

    Then I moved to a position where I could tell people specifics. You know what happens 9 times out of 10? The people who demanded to know what was wrong then want to know why I can't magically fix it.

    I'm glad we're telling stories, as has already been stated it is impossible for me to have any experience like this so I'm not sure what you're trying to relate to.

    I want to work as an SE community rep, they get paid for delivering troll news, how could you not like that job? You get to deliver news that makes people rage then when the community backs you into the corner you just utter BALANCE! which is the equivalent of casting "Galaxy Stop" in FFT on the playerbase.

    Now, I will address some feedback that has been submitted.

    I personally like the separation of weaknesses and loot, but I feel like this leads to players simply switching to their strongest jobs to finish content.
    We understand your concern that players will simply switch to their strongest jobs due to the removal of the necessity to proc weaknesses and we’re carefully planning to address this issue.

    In order to avoid content becoming monotonous, an idea we are looking into is not completely separating weakness and loot by increasing the maximum bonus attained through cells and other ascent items. As a result, if there are few players involved, using cells will replace having to proc weakness, and for larger parties, it would be possible to avoid paying the high cost for cells by procing weakness as usual.

    We may discover some issues with the above proposal upon our extensive review, but we believe that if we completely separate weakness and loot, it is inevitable that players will lean toward using only their strongest jobs.

    In order to allow creative freedom in battle, it is necessary to improve the effects of procing weakness, so that it is more enjoyable to use various tactics to proc weaknesses rather than resorting to using the strongest job available. This is a long term goal for us, so it is not possible to make this change all at once, but we will be taking steps one by one to achieve this goal.

    In addition, we plan on adding enfeebling effects to Quick Draw in the enfeebling spell adjustments we have planned, so please look forward to these changes as well.

    I wouldn't doubt that they all have already, that aside... I get the impression that they've been working there for a while so if he hasn't he probably won't.
