I know I'm a page behind but the way I skip past multiple button presses on menus like that is to hit my left arrow key to page up to the top. I can't possibly be the only person who uses left and right arrow keys to page up and down instead of up and down to move space by space through menus in this game, right? >_>
No, that's exactly what I do too.
CP:Gil ration isn't that great as I recall. I prefer to use CP.
Edit: NVM, Voiddust.
Will it be worth it to do pick ups with the the drama of someone with only mage jobs lotting on the next WAR/PLD/DRK/SAM/DRG body that comes out? Voidwatch you can do that because of the individual loot pools, even with the Legion points, people are going to want the good stuff right away meaning loot drama.
I use them all the time. I HP in Bastok because I hate the crowding in Jeuno, so they are a very convenient system for me to get around.
EDIT- And by "crowding" I mean "rampant fucking stupid shouts of idiots being stupid".
Issue with the warp menu isn't distance but the fact some people press left and some people press up, and after 6~7 years of OP warping 2+ times a day and ingraining that pattern into one's memory, for about half of us the menu change fucked us up and we keep accidentally clicking CP warp, which iss actually kind of expensive when you realize 100 CP is 10 warp scrolls.
Someone proposed we change it to:
-Gil
>Cancel
-Conquest Points
So that both hitting up and left would result in using gil properly.
Tbh I have no idea ytf they allowed cp use to pay in the first place
I don't really see the issue with CP... sure it might be better utilized for Voidstones IF you have a steady income of it. But I have no reason to exp anymore outside abyssea, merits are capped too, and on top of that VW itself provides ridiculous amounts of exp.
All this means that CP are nearly impossible to obtain anymore. I've been sitting at 70k for the past 2 years and now I can finally use it for something, this being CP OP warps. Voidstones are better purchased with AN due to its much easier accumulation. But that's just my opinion.

Those are all pretty solid adjustments. Even Parrying/Evasion, which may sound like a joke but kind of isn't. That will probably cap your Evade/Parry rate against level 75 content, which really makes the job a lot more viable in lowmanning those events.

Am I reading this correctly that they imply you can get the same item from drops AND from points? Seems it is, but I'm not used to reading good news anymore. Yay for making a system I've been preaching since Salvage =)With regard to loot, players can obtain loot either through trading Legion points or through the lotting system. If a lot of monsters are defeated by many players, there will be more loot dropped, which means there are more chances to obtain loot. Even if a player fails to obtain an item through lotting, that player accumulates Legion points with each run, which will allow the player to possibly trade for the item. With more players, there certainly is more competition when lotting on an item, but considering that there are more loot items dropped, the probability of obtaining an item will not drop as severely as you mentioned.
inb4 rewards are fail because of barance.
I dont believe not one person who posts here doesnt have a linkshell with 18 people...Sure Abyssea caused everyone to work on their own, or with a friend to achieve goals, but did everyone toss their linkpearls in place of inventory+1?
Screw SE for attempting to make content that requires more than 3 people in a MMO, pricks. (sarcasm)
All of my linkshells that didn't break are ~10 people or less. There was a large one I joined post VW, but I realized it was run by idiots and I was almost better off chancing PUGs.
My Linkshell on an average day has 8-10 people on, and sometimes on weekends we have about 15, but never anymore than that.
I have two separate linkshells each capable of fielding 18 solid, capable players with very minor overlap (3-4 mutual members). I lead one and have a sack in the other.
It's not good linkshells that are hard to find. It's good leaders. Once you have someone there who's willing to take on the crap that generally comes with being a shellholder, the rest pretty much falls into place. There are plenty of free agents out there if you know where to look.
Here's an update they should do. Let us use porter slips with our MH Moogle. (And I don't want to hear that it's impossible. We can extend Mog Locker lease with Moogle now)
