So the rewards you can buy with Legion points and the ones that drop off the mobs are completely different? Oh dear.
Everyone wanted HNM drama again right? right?!
I see a lot of "EGLS" types selling rare ex items from legion based on the way it sounds.
On the other hand, hopefully it will help control the insane amount of gil on the servers right now. inflation is really crazy, we've needed a good popular gil sink for quite some time ever since Dynamis was changed.
Depending on shell? Ein had its fair share of drama especially when you had pools like my full of shit, mess and garbage. Wbodies to the moon!
Anything rare in a pool with people able to ninja is a potential disaster waiting to happen.
Looks like SE is setting this up for the point items to be good but easily capped out on meaning the real drops will be the rare as fuck, glowing like its going outta style drops off the NMs everyone gotta compete for. No limit on this event definitely means the droprates will be absolute shit and if it works like Einherjar the possibility of people deciding to lot just to lot is gonna mean PUG lulz.
Hopefully SE has sense and simply make the best rewards insane amounts of points and the common things poolside but that assumes SE has sense. I won't hold my breath.
There are still LS don't make everyone else pass before the folks eligible to lot via their chosen system cast?
I can see it being trickier with Legion though since it's ongoing to the end. Once drops are determined for each hall I can see the process being simplified though.
Maybe I'm spoiled having been in good, respectable shells with good people for ... since ever, but holy shit ninja lotting is still a concern in 2012? I guess I can't really sympathize =/ it really shouldn't be that hard for people to be decent to one another, but who knows.
Oh, I can understand if you're going in unfiltered PUGs then. I just figured that would always be an issue trying to do an event with random loot as a pickup. People will either free lot everything up front, seacom lots up front, or do things as a linkshell. There really shouldn't be any situation where people are too stupid to understand the lotting rules in advance, and if they are then the D2 machines are there for a reason. It's always smart to have a Blm that you trust in each party whenever you do something in a pickup that you're not comfortable trusting.
A lot of pickups on my server aren't too bad, though. For the most part you just get snippets from all of the various old Endgame shells coming together in the same alliance rather than a bunch of no-names. Most of Cerb's Endgame scene is pretty chill these days.
It seems like they're just doing overhauls one job at a time starting from the bottom of the totem pole (after nerfing the top a bit, of course).
Except Summoner because fuck those guys.
Red Mage is deader than Summoner, at least as far as I see it.Shame too, I used to love that job.
You can all line up behind Paladin.
be very nice if they actually go through with getting rid of itOriginally Posted by Rukkirii
Hello everyone!
The dev. team is looking into removing the wait time restrictions for older missions and events. However, we won't be able to remove them all at once since there are such a large amount of them and each of these event scenes being created differently.
If you guys could provide for us specific examples of where you have (or are) being inconvenienced by wait times, we can put those on the top of the list to be removed first.
They're just going to respond with "no" "BALANCE" to every non-retarded idea they get.
Want to remove the 1 day restriction on dynamis? OK, BUT WE'RE GONNA NERF COIN DROP RATE TO BALLANCE IT OUT LOOLOLOLOlo
