I just cant wait for Camate to post it and watch all the bst's who like to go to dynamis and try to horde 5 mobs then go BAWWWWWWWWWWWWW U STOLE MY YELLOW MOB when it ultimately gets jacked bitch about how SE is fucking their game up.

Because those BSTs you're bitching about weren't helping to make currency easier to acquire and thus make relics cheaper.
A dumb nerf is dumb.
I'm referring to the people buying currency to finish. If you're selling then obviously the depleted supply means you can raise the price and pull a higher profit.
Regardless of that, nerfing a job already ranking among the worst jobs in the game overall is just SE level silliness. We gave you TH and now we're going to take it away. Hope you like being backhanded repeatedly. ^_^
RDM will not be any more useful for legion or nyzul. BST is a capable DD on low defense content, don't see it doing badly on nyzul.
Are you people completely ignoring the proposed killer instinct changes? A good bst could be keeping a 20% dmg bonus/reduction/intimidation rate up most of the time on appropriate monsters. Could be a huge asset.

(almost lol...)
Really depends since SE already stated they're not lowering Call Beast Timer any further. and they specifically said the reason was because it would allow bst to defeat a variety of monsters with just pets. Also something about balance.
Thats a really disappointing announcment. They are limiting pet th to level 1. They also mention the possibility of Pet: treasure hunter + gear.
Its interesting the other information in the post. The official translation will help alleviate some concerns. They did a fair amount of discussion of the other balance options they considered, such as keeping the th3 but reducing the combat effectiveness of the jug (frankly if it were a new jug, I wouldn't mind this, but I think yuly and falcorr both have combat niche's which I wouldnt' want to disturb). i wouldn't mind having a frog pet have th3. its really weak, but if I can put th3 on then drop the pet for big fights, I wouldnt' mind. That was one thing they considered. or changing them not to be thf's and having other special techniques like bounty shot which add a th effect.
In the name of balance they also considered adjusting the drop tables.. which they thought would be too vast of a change for balance.
They know this one won't be popular. I don't like it. I like th3. There is very noticeable difference between th1, 2 & 3. after that I don't really notice the difference, but I'm not thf
I wonder how Pet: TH+ would work. Would it give TH to pets that otherwise had no TH? Would it just be a "+1" (compared to actually having the TH2, or TH3 trait?)
But yeah, this isn't going to help anything. Bsts are still going to be in your dynamis, they are still going to be competing for JA proc mobs, native TH1 is still decent.
I've never had any issues with "holding mobs", because whenever I did dynamis, I just ran with 3 bsts, proc'd right away, killed before proc wore off, and moved on to the next. Holding is silly, especially when it's crowded. Steal away!
Revising zilart dynamis zones so that they're more comparable to COP zones would also help a lot.
Except that they don't want people to actually be able to peacefully farm the coins that they want, so that's never going to happen. Nerf nerf nerf, all under the banner of balance!
BST doesn't get TH for free, they get it by using a pet which has the thief job, and are high enough level to have the trait. Pets getting traits from their pet jobs has always been a part of bst. The difference was that bst had no pet: TH+ gear (similar to pet: DA+, etc), so thf still has the "TH" edge. TH8+ not being much different from TH3 isn't our fault, that's SE's for poor implementation and balance.
Yeah, we're just seeing some of the old bst hate coming out. Also, if you are going full bore Killer effect + merits and such, its really at least 24% boost in damage (full time) and often you can probably boost that up to more like 30%. Its a HUGE boost to bst damage.
BST is actually double dipping on that damage boost. Guasape FTW
I should also the post mentions they would take the same approach in thefuture when considering avatar's and automatons w/ regard to th.
Its all the Same thing.Would it just be a "+1" (compared to actually having the TH2, or TH3 trait?)
TH2+1 from a level 75 THF is the same as TH3 From a level 90 THF, TH1+1 From a level 15 THF (Upgrading TH From procs) is the same as TH2 from a 45 THF.
At least, thats how i recall it from the last thread i read...
I am still for the fact to remove that stupid proc system all together, and just leave procs in to stop mob 2 hours, but not affecting drops. Normal drops without procing, would even thinsg sout between all jobs... and you actually could choose where you want to motherfuckign go do dynamis.
I know I'm late to the party, but in regards to the voidwatch ticket thing, It's amazing how many times people will give SE the benefit of the doubt, only to be disappointed yet again.
It's almost comical at this point.
Anyone who expects this to be a useful mechanic is in for a rude awakening.
