New expansion inc? :D
A new expansion would actually bring me back to the game. I wonder how many more people there are, just like me?
/
I would /
Honestly anything refreshing would excite me tho.
I have my hopes up because it's the 10th anniversary this year, and next month marks the end of the road map, which means they'll likely show us the next roadmap soon. 2011-12 is soon over and so the year dedicated to improving the core game is almost done.
The uncertainty and anticipation excites me. Provided they've figured out how to work around the zone listing limit, the addition of new zones for a new expansion is something I'd gladly pay for
I've pinned my hopes on May 16 being the latest we'll know anything, but I'm sure there'll be something of note to be announced this year.
Anyway they're only off the roadmap by 1 month-ish. And being that I like FFXI this much even table scraps would excite me lol
Has anyone actually gotten a choco-subligar? Cuz if they're the reward for the new Valentines day event, then fuck I might be doing that tomorrow morning.
Announcing FFXI: Void of the Watchers
I got a Stack of Choco-Panties and 10 Heart-Bombs In my Dbox just a few moments ago.

This could be very interesting. SMNs could use a BP, dismiss, call a spirit, have them use a tier v, dismiss, rinse and repeat. The MP drain may not be a major hindrance now. However, the key factor is how quickly are the spirits going to cast their spell.

Hmm no. You still have to wait for spell recast and hope your Fire Spirit doesn't cast Burn or Flare. Either way their accuracy sucks so this won't happen on anything that isn't EM or lower.
And I thought they were removing spirit perp merits to replace with spirit recast/casting time but they're just switching it with another useless merit. Oh well.
