    Here is hoping that they make 2 hard HNM bosses if you clear the entire VW paths then clear the CoP and TOAU paths respectively to unlock these 2 BCNMs. (like unlocking shinryu fight). This time no brews. Then people would start bandwagon jumping on VW to get their clears.

    If you look at my dat mine, they added mobs to two of the 9 currently unused zones. Could be music for one of those perhaps?

    (One of them seems to house the new crystal dragon)

    But then again, those two new zones will probably just look like horutoto or chocobo circuits anyway.

    Would have been a good opportunity to introduce Gilgamesh's FFXI appearance if they hadn't already used him for a pirate NPC.

    They could still have a gilgamesh from a different dimension or something. Gilgamesh from the place where all the VW stuff comes from got consumed by the void? :D

    No reason why they couldn't have the main FF storyline Gilgamesh make an appearance in the game as a boss fight. But if they were to have him in the game, they need to have a rendition of Battle on the Big Bridge. No arguments.

    Eh that explanation doesn't really fly imo, Argus anyone? They should add him to this game! Although, Hahava looks like him and the lore kinda fits so many they intended that to be his incarnation similar to how the magus sisters are those mithra from COP.

    I think thats the new dungeon crawling thing.. and this music is for that event. Tho in my mind the tempo for both tracks doesn't suit a dungeon crawl.. but more like a zone with a lot of pop spots for battles lol.

    also, based on your dat mine..
    unknown 5 will be a town, not a battle area... so 056 suits that. maybe its a lobby of sorts.
    and unknown 8 will be the battle area..

    speculation:
    unknown 5 will be the other dimension involved in Voidwatch. There's like a settlement/outpost there with NPCs and 'quests' like your typical Abyssea entrance.
    this zone will let you access unknown 8, which is all the instanced 'dungeon crawl' stuff. i think both of them will look like crystal world tho.
    i'm guessing there'll be different dungeon crawls and that some of them will have items that drop, or stuff that make up minor objectives to be fulfilled for NPCs of unknown 5. or a point system npc. or something

    While we will be removing the feature where you can go past your destination floor, once you reach the destination floor and fight the notorious monster you will no longer be able to progress to the next floor.
     
    • Key item/equipment exchange system
    This is the system that I mentioned previously where if you clear a boss floor a certain amount of times, you will be able to obtain an item of your choice from that same boss.
    Meaning that if you defeat the notorious monster on floor 20 above a certain number of times, you will be eligible to receive one of the possible rewards for floor 20.
     
    We are also currently looking into the direction of obtaining the stronger equipment through this method. For example, if you are able to defeat the notorious monster on floor 20 above a certain amount of times, you will be able to receive one of the possible rewards for floor 40.
     
    In this case, the merits of aiming for floor 100 would become weak, so in the event that you defeat a notorious monster on floor 100, we are planning to make it possible to obtain one item from that floor by clearing it just one time.
    I'm impressed.

    Those are all actually good adjustments to the event that will make it much more rewarding. Did someone lock Tanaka in the closet while they decide to do these?

    Unless they implement the second half of the KI exchange system, it's still pointless since you need to cheat to obtain floor 100 items.

    Fantasic changes. Now they still need to address why people would want to do lower floors. Like, maybe you do floor 20 10 times and get lvl 80 armor. 20 times for floor 100 armor. It would reward the more casual players with opportunities to get a sweet armor piece once a month. Idk
