WAR gets face mask AF, too, but that doesn't mean they'll be putting WAR, NIN, BLU and PUP together on the same piece of equipment.

I meant something that covers the mouth/nose, like the BLU turban or the NIN AF3 hood.

Though something that was WAR/NIN/BLU/PUP does intrigue me now. Go go Runic axe, in Hood form.

To me, the purple set looks a little more far-eastern temple monk than magey.

The boots alone make it obvious it's going to be a mage set.

They can wear the aby random augment set as well, which is the closest looking thing to that armor.

I would hope the sets aren't mutually exclusive, so that blu can use both the nuke set and the 'light' melee set. If they are thou, I imagine it would be like this:

ugly green pope stuff: whm smn brd
purple set: blm rdm sch (blu?)
hideous red face mask set: nin sam mnk pup
black set: war drk pld drg (bst?)
blue dnc looking set: thf dnc cor rng (blu?) (bst?)

I wanna say the first two are revamped Homam/Nashira. And then the other three would be the mage/light/heavy sets from Legion?

I actually rather like the look of the 4th set. 1st one would be better with less clanky boots, which is one of the reasons I think it's Homam (given those boots sounded like platemail when you walked >_> )

(Also, 5 new sets of armor and none of them are showing leg for mithra? Mind blown!)

With Invis scrolls hanging around 100k on my server, was long overdue. No one XPs on gobs anymore, and the drop-rate on it was low enough to begin with for the amount of WHM gobs there were in Dunes/Gustav/Terrigan.

I'm not sure if I'm thinking about the same topic, but doesn't PUP get face masks on their AF3 too? Little different style, but it's still a mask. Doubt it contributes to anything at all though.

Yeah it's a little phantom of the opera type mardigras mask. I love pup empyrean hat because it makes me feel like I'm on my way to an orgy in a castle while I and my fellow aristocrats wait out the horrible plague devastating the ranks of the common rabble.

It’s been quite some time since we first announced that we would be implementing Meteor, but we’re about ready to get this bad boy in for you all to use.

The specifications are nearly finalized and we are planning the below stats:
Can only cast Meteor while under the effect of Elemental Seal
*For testing purposes, you will be able to use Meteor without Elemental Seal active on the test server.
Non-elemental damage
In the case that multiple party members also cast the spell, damage will increase. The animation will also vary.
We needed a good amount of time to add new elements to the game such as behavior when multiple players cast the spell, but it seems like we are just about ready to have you all test it out on the test server this week!

That was actually the first exciting news in months for me. I have to wonder how powerful Meteor actually is because I still need Astral Flow to summon Odin or Alexander <_<

Please keep in mind that Araise will be extremely difficult to obtain. As such, it is highly unlikely that every white mage will learn Araise
