Maybe I can finally convince Oph to go at least 4/5 Empathy. Amazing buff!

Players suggestions: Adding Riftdross/cinder or Heavy Metal Plates/Pouches to increase Legion incentives.
SE response:
While we're not currently looking into adding the suggested items to Legion to increase participation, we are looking at how to increase participation via other methods.
What are you talking about?! The Summoner update makes the rest of these look like trash! Summoners never have to Bblood Pact ever again, we can just cast spirits and let them nuke the holy hell out of mobs! This is sooooo much more useful than if they bothered to reduce Blood Pact ability delay!
...
No wait, this was total crap and a complete waste of development time. And of course when SMN ask for a reasonable buff that helps the job, the Development team will tell them "Maybe next year, you just got two gigantic buffs that people were clamoring for in a row, now let us tell you about this new SAM ability that allows them to fart on an opponent causing every SAM in the region to glow and go super sayan..."
Meanwhile at SE:

Let me fix that last one to what the devs actually meant...Originally Posted by Rukkirii

I'll be pretty sad if I am on 10, hit snake eye, double up, bust...
I guess there will be augmented Homam/Nashira upgrades? That's sure news to me!http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/im...quote_icon.png Originally Posted by Mizuki_Ito http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/im...post-right.png
Hi, this is Ito, fresh out of a meeting.
I would like to respond to a few questions about the system and rewards.
I did say that I would like the reservation limitations to be removed, but I would also like the requirement of getting a card from the Aw'euvhi (the flower) in order to enter to be removed.
When Limbus was popular, we had to waste a lot of time fighting over them. Since Limbus has an area claim system, everybody wants to enter before the other groups, but fighting over the flowers makes everybody very frustrated. Since everybody needs to have a card, players miss out on runs just for being several minutes late or party members have to hold the flowers until that player arrives. These circumstances lead to unnecessarily long wait times.
It is good that this content can be taken on by 6 players, but I really do not like the system that makes players compete too much.
Regarding cards, we will maintain the existing method (every party member must defeat a specific monster) but also add the ability to obtain cards by checking ???s.
What bothers me is that enhanced Homam and Nashira gear are augmented…
Does this mean that they cannot be stored?ヽ(;´Д`)ノ
Actually, we plan on allowing both the enhanced versions and new gear to be stored.
Even if enhanced gear is impossible, will CORs, PUPs, DNCs and SCHs be able to equip new Homam and Nashira gear?! I would like this to be possible, since they cannot equip Tu’lia gods gear …
Or add new gear for CORs, PUPs, DNCs and SCHs!!!
In terms of enhanced gear, they will remain the same. Regarding new gear, we are looking into adding more jobs that can equip these gear items.
Off to another meeting!
Also, the requests for nominal changes to things that never made sense anyway were told "no, no, and no." Big surprise.
Seems like they did listen to players on this one. The option is to find the ??? or obtain cards from mobs. That's a huge upgrade if they pair that with instanced events. The option to obtain new armor and augment old armor puts me in an ambiguous position because it is uncertain how they will make augmented homam enticing in comparison with the new armor.
Nyzul provides an assortment of WS and TP gear. Relic+2 provides an assortment of macro pieces. I assume the upcoming gear will have to "fill in the gaps" of TP and WS gear. The problem, however, is that they have two incoming sets. Can they really make room for augmented pieces, Empyrean+2, new homam, and nyzul gear within two narrow types of sets?
Stop. Fucking. With. Old. Content. And. Make. Better. New. Content. You. Assholes.
I hope we get something aside from an XP Band for the tenth anniversary. Although those XP bands were certainly god-like several years ago, and are still "neat" for burning jobs from 1-30....it truly would be nice to see something a little unique. Something like a TH+1 ring or earring, or a ring of instant warp with infinite charges and a low cooldown. Certainly not gamebreaking (although some may think the TH ring is), but christ at least it could be something aside from an XP ring that will rot until I pick another piece of dynamis gear to augment.
xp rings are pretty meh too now...1-15 grind (28,350 total, and you can still book for extra XP), 15-30 gusgen bookburn (xp ring will only work on the 5-15 xp you get from the skeletons/ghouls), 30-99 abyssea (xp ring wont work)
I could go for an infinite-recharge Anny ring just so I can toss my other ones that are hogging space atm.
well, Limbus was part of their fiscal 2011-2012 plan to revamp everything old in the game that is kinda underutilized..
I'd wager they have more up their sleeve that they just aren't revealing yet..
maybe they're saving it up for a new expansion or something.
also, it should be noted somewhere that atomos and cait sith have yet to be released as summons...
if u ask me i think the things that need the most retooling are the bulk of WotG battle content.
ANNM, Succor to the Sidhe, Stronghold NM, Sandworm BC, MMM, lolEvoliths....
some were evidently better than others, but many of them used to give sidegrades at best during 75 days.. now they're all kinda useless.
also, most of the fun Campaign Op BCs are forever locked away...
looking back at it, WotG events were really very fail compared to like CoP/ToA.. at least for the latter you can kinda go back to it and solo/duo most of that shit, and actually have a reason to.
I suppose their time for adjustment will eventually come, so that they can breathe some form of new life into these things, that people may want to take part in them..
If they have any big (or even medium-sized) announcements coming, I'm sure they will hold them off until Vana'fest. They may drop hints as we get closer, but I'm sure that's what their plan is.
I thought their recipe was release new content and have the players beta test it for another year before adjusting it?
