    That ranged WS adjustment is unexpected, but I think everyone would agree that the reaction to that is "finally." Screw all that lost TP from mobs running around/out of range of WSes (and having to run into range of some AoEs just to WS). The rest are pretty lulz or we already knew about them. I saw that Legion Adjustments title on the POL main page and I was like heyyyy please have something good, and I was greeted by that one-liner that we already knew. I wonder why they randomly decided to mess with EES enmity, though.

    My reaction is "meh". I suppose it is awesome for magical weaponskills, but as long as the distance penalty is applicable shit will suck. Would have preferred an adjustment where they take away JA delay from each shot or something to boost the damage like having dead aim/double shot work on WS.

    EES will always be meh. Slugwinders did higher damage than our 2hr. Best use for a RNG's 2hr? Switch to COR and wildcard.

    At least for Voidwatch, assuming they change it so that you can fire a weapon skill from within normal ranged attack range, it'll allow you to stay out of AoEs while trying to proc. Yeah, you can be smart and time it between TP moves and stuff, but plenty of those mobs have instant cast/short-cast spells too. And honestly, that was always frustrating because you actually have motivation to hit a WS on a TP move if possible to get bonus lights/duration/temps.

    So....stay in a 10-12' range for sweet spot to pewpew, then run out of said sweet spot to fire off a less damaging weaponskill. rockin. How about moving the sweetspot out to a reasonable "ranged" distance?

    Oh and for enmity generation on EES, I do love the comment above about matching enmity generation with damage ^^. How about we just make it so EES doesn't miss? That would be a great first step.

    Recently, we have confirmed an issue wherein players in Grauberg (S) will leave their summoned avatars out while they’re AFK and let the avatars attack monsters by using the auto-counter attack system. Also, we have confirmed that these players have gained experience points and items through this act.

    Not only does this act upset the game balance, it may interrupt the game play of other players. Any players caught performing the act by a Game Master (GM) may see disciplinary action taken against their accounts. Therefore, we ask that you please refrain yourself from performing this act.

    Please be advised that a GM may request assistance from you if they determine that your actions may be causing a disruption in the game balance. If you received instructions from a GM, we ask that you follow them immediately. If you do not follow the instructions, as stated previously, the GM will take action against your account.

    If you encounter a player performing this act, please do not hesitate to report them to the Special Task Force via the URL listed below. The Special Task Force and the GMs will work together to investigate the matter accordingly.

    According to the ffxiah thread, people are "abusing" this feature to farm breeze geodes & garudites off of chigoes. Just seems like terrible wording, or rather lack of wording, on SE's part.

    What? But... This is how SE designed it, this is intentional behavior! The avatars are supposed to attack monsters that pose a danger to them, and attack their masters! Even though people have complained for a really long time that pets sometimes just do whatever the fuck they want, SE has refused to change it since it's intentional behavior!

    Lol man... Whats next for SMN.

    1. Auction House refuses to serve any SMN because they're jobist.
    2. Moogle in your mog house laughs at you while on SMN and doesn't allow you to access your safe unless you switch jobs.
    3. You don't qualify to use any teleport service NPC's because "we don't serve your kind around here."
    4. You can only take ghetto airships that only SMN's can take and it takes 4 times the length to get to where you want to go.
    5. Delivery box NPC laughs at you and says to get on a real job before you can send stuff.
    6. Signet, Sanction, Sigil become illegal to give to SMN's.
    7. Everytime a SMN melee's a target .5$ is tacked onto their monthly fee.
    8. Any SMN entering an Abyssea alliance grants -50% exp penalty.
    9. Any SMN in a voidwatch alliance ups logs by 90%
    10. Any SMN caught inside of dynamis lowers drop rates of the entire zone by 90% regardless of procs.
    11. Any SMN caught inside of Legion buff's the mob's by 40%.
    12. Everytime a SMN QQ's on the official forums avatar perp rises by 5.
    13. All quests done on SMN now have a JP midnight requirement.
    14. Any SMN QQ'ing on the official forums pushes back new avatar release date by 2 years.
