    I'd like to see a battlefield with all those bullshit OP moves but a zone buff that drops weakness to 30 seconds. That way it's not so devastating when your entire front line gets oneshotted and there's still a penalty, along with new MP issues from constant curing after fast unweakening.

    [dev1056] Einherjar renewal
    A new version of the Odin's Chamber battle for level 99 adventurers has been added to the Hazhalm Testing Grounds.
    Entry Procedure: Trade a Smouldering Lamp to the Entry Gate after having aquired the designation "Elite Einherjar" and the valkyrie feather key items from each of the three Wings.
    *The Odin's Chamber and Odin's Chamber (Lv.99) battle occupy the same area. If one battlefield is already reserved by a party, a different party may not reserve either.
    The procedure for entering Odin's Chamber has been revised.
    Trade a Smouldering Lamp to the Entry Gate while in possession of the valkyrie feather key items from each of the three Wings.
    The following items may now be purchased from the Nashmau NPC Kilusha in exchange for ampoules of therion ichor:
    Valkyrie's Tear / Valkyrie's Wing / Valkyrie's Soul

    *The above items will only be available for purchase if the player possesses the "Mark of the Einherjar" key item.
    Players may trade a Valkyrie's Tear, Valkyrie's Wing, or Valkyrie's Soul to the "???" target in Hazhalm Testing Grounds to obtain one of three possible key items:

    The way it's worded could be taken either way. I'm assuming they mean only one feather from each wing is needed but it doesn't explicitly say that. It just says "Trade a Smouldering Lamp to the Entry Gate while in possession of the valkyrie feather key items from each of the three Wings" which is precisely what is done now to enter (meaning the only thing that has changed is that you can buy feathers?).

    It's probably just a poor translation and they didn't mention that only one feather from each tier is needed, but no one can be certain from the way it is written.

    Head equipment display toggle

    Greetings!

    I have some good news for all of you!

    The development team has been working on a text command based toggle head gear ON/OFF feature and we are planning to implement this in the June version update.

    There were a lot of requests for a configuration based setting and we looked into this, but since this involved UI alteration we will only be adding the text command version.

    By toggling your head gear display ON/OFF, the visual display will be reflected for both yourself and others who see your character. (There will be no visual changes for tunics and other similar gear that restrict you from equipping head armor.)

    Avatar Behavior Issues and Requests

    Hey everyone!

    We’ve received a couple reports of issues and requests about avatar behavior and I would like to pass on some comments regarding this.

    The recast timer is activated when an enemy dies right before a Blood Pact is executed
    We will look into whether we can make it so the recast timer does not activate similar to how it would when a target moves out of range after executing a Blood Pact.

    Ramuh and Titan Blood Pact animations are not displayed
    When performing another action or regular attack just before finishing the Blood Pact animation it is possible that the animation is not properly displayed. This is difficult to address because the way animations are displayed can be different depending on the client and the animation may be interrupted at different timings.

    Enhancing effects that were dispelled with Lunar Roar are not displayed
    We definitely understand that it would be beneficial to display this so that you could check whether you removed the effects you were aiming for or not, however, work-load wise this will be a bit difficult to address right away due to the need to create two separate log messages for each type of enhancing effect in each of our supported languages.

    After summoning an avatar there is a short period of time where actions cannot be performed
    This isn’t just limited to avatars and can be seen with other pets as well, but the system was set so that actions cannot be performed for a period of time directly after summoning an avatar to prevent erroneous actions for taking place.

    There are times when alliance members can be targeted for Healing Ruby
    As a result of our investigation, we have determined that this phenomenon will occur under certain circumstances and are currently working to resolve the issue. Out of all Blood Pacts and pet commands, this phenomenon only occurs with Healing Ruby.

    There are a lot of items which are difficult to address and require some confirming, but we will continue to look into the above and update you as we make progress.

    Neo Nyzul Isle

    I’d like to put the two different Nyzul challenges into perspective a bit.

    The original Nyzul was a lot easier to clear, but the drop rates were not very high. On top of the drop rate, you would only get one piece of equipment as well, which could possibly be something different than what you were after.

    The new Nyzul might be a bit more difficult to reach floor 100, but if you are able to successfully get there and defeat the boss, each party member has a 100% guaranteed item, and what’s even better is that you can select the item of your choice.

    Based on the above, though it might be more challenging to reach the higher floors, when you get there you will definitely be rewarded.

    On a separate note, it seems like some players are finding the lamp floors to be the most troublesome. I would be happy to submit any suggestions you have for improving this aspect of Nyzul, so please list them out and I will talk to the development team about them.

    Actually, could someone with official forum access be a dear and ask for some clarification, because that is frighteningly worded. Especially the part about trading one of the items for a feather, it sounds like you get a random feather- the word "possible" just makes me really nervous like it is possible that you will get a feather that you already have.

    Yes it exactly says that in the german version:
    "Um Odins Kammer betreten zu können, müssen Spieler von nun an nur noch mindestens je eine Walkürenfeder (Schlüssel-Item) der Flügel I bis III besitzen und das Item „Räucherlampe“ am Eingangstor (Entry Gate) handeln."
    To enter Odin as first person (trading lamp at gate and selecting Odins Chamber) you now only need one feather from I to III and the Lamp. Bit late for the 75's ;_;

    its headgear toggle, new armor (fuck you restated old armor being new armor), 4 limbus areas (2 each for apollyon and tem with 1 of each being new bcnm's), odin mk2, buyable wings for ein. fair bit of stuff there but not so much to warrant a update that damn long. only reason it's that long is cause playonline has maintenance too.

    I was under the impression that only 2 limbus zones were getting added.

    Einherjar is just Odin V2. Limbus is 1x apollyon 1x temenos Omega V2 and Ultima V2.

    I hope he's wrong or they change it, but opening the chest from clearing one set of monsters on the test server didn't get me the KI that he got (I assume he went with a group), so I can't verify it.

    Well, looks like they were spoiling a new battle event, not the system they were talking about....

    I guess it's about time to spill the beans (I promise not to troll this time).

    Entering the Runic Gate I was transported to Heroine's Tower (tentative EN name), the new battlefield we will be debuting at VanaFest 2012. (Never fear, we have some plans on making this special event available outside of the event, too!)
