Innin would have been a long needed boost that suited the criteria that one would imagine a Thief would fulfill; being behind the mob, giving up one of their strong areas (evasion) for a boost in another (crit and accuracy) If they wanted the abilities to not be 'abused' by tanks/2 handers, why not add a condition where you needed to dual wield to receive the effect ala Hasso/Seigan. Still too strong? Reduce the effect gained when used as a subjob again, like Hasso (and Seigan? Does the counter rate lower when subbed?)
Frankly, I don't see the difference between giving a Thief Yonin versus giving a White Mage Light Arts or a Warrior Hasso. You're simply enhancing what a job already does by highlighting what that job is best at.
I also think that Afflatus Solace and Misery should have been available via subjob. Would have helped out Scholars quite a bit when it came to being mildly useful. Red Mages too, I guess, but meh.
