New excuse; Lore, same reason why it takes so fucking long for the goblin in Castle Zvhal to upgrade your relic weapons, gotta travel to some mystical land that we don't have access to cause they know a blacksmith there or something that can repair the stuff.
They switched to FedEx. There, done.
Glad my thread eventually got some publicity, and that for 3 pages it managed the impossible task of staying within the subject and not drifting to something inane.
If they are doing Relic+2, the last patch should have included a shortened wait time (or abolished) on getting the +1 in preparation of +2, so that folks like myself want to start on it before the masses flock and make shit impossible for a few weeks.
Pretty much. There are ships that go between Mharua and Whitegate several times a day now, and a guy who can warp you right to Whitegate for 300 gil standing in Upper Jeuno. She can add in a little blurb since relations have opened up between the Empire and the middle lands things can get shipped faster now. (I would say that it should require ToAU mission clear for that, but I might get killed for the suggestion.)
Hell, just tell me who to to give it to and I will hand-deliver the items in less than 5 minutes.
And this...
I hope that they are going to desuckify helix spells, but I still don't think that will be enough to get people off of BLM or WHM and on to SCH.Originally Posted by Bayohne
That and it's also been several Vana'diel decades since Limbus inception, anything they could bullshit regarding technology would be justified also. ;/
Shit, maybe I better bump my thread involving an adjustment for it.We understand your concerns very well, but it has been difficult for us to focus on anything other than Voidwatch.
No, it is still 20 years after the Crystal War. It is always 20 years after the Crystal War.
I always scratch my head when the opening video says 863rd Crystal year and it's fucking 1134 right now even though it says "20 years later". Speaking of weird time paradoxes, how about when you hit /clock in any of the Shadowreign areas and it still displays the current Vana'diel time?
Quite a lot of stuff today:
Scholar

Let me start by explaining our new policy.
As you all know, the level cap will be raised to 99 soon. After that, as I mentioned elsewhere, we are planning on implementing various other adjustments, such as reviewing merit point categories.
Considering these changes, although it may take longer to finalize, some jobs will require fundamental overhaul instead of minor adjustments.
For example, for puppetmasters we plan on re-examining every attachment and the AI logic of automatons. For corsair we plan on re-evaluating every roll. Similarly, we would like to adjust the fundamentals of scholar, namely light & dark arts and Helix spells.
I’m sorry for making similar requests two days in a row, but please understand that we are making adjustments so that scholar becomes a useful job all around and not just a tool for procing weakness in Voidwatch content.
Regarding whether being able to use Helix spells starting at a lower level is right or wrong, we understand that it is possible to level up in Grounds of Valor and Abyssea with the help of other players, but we do not consider that standard procedure. This is the same reasoning as why job adjustments do not factor in leveling in Abyssea areas as a standard issue.
Next up are Helix spells.
Instead of shortening the time in between damage dealt over time, we would like to establish that damage is dealt every 10 seconds. We also plan on increasing the amount of damage dealt and fixing the effect duration at 90 seconds instead of 45-90 seconds. We will prepare these changes in time for the next test server update.
Regarding accuracy, Helix spells are set to have similar accuracy as tier IV black magic spells, so we will not be adjusting their accuracy. Instead, we decided to stabilize Helix spells by fixing damage dealt and their effect duration.
This is a bit off-topic, but regarding the effects of "Adloquium," we decided not to adjust its base stats. In the future, we plan on looking into introducing gear that enhances the effect.
DancerWanted to "jump" in here (get it?) and give our dragoons some cool tidbits on what's in store for them.
After we complete our highest priority tasks of adjusting puppetmaster, scholar, and the firepower of warrior, we would like to add on to the adjustments we made to Wyverns in the 9/19 major version update by adjusting dragoons themselves. We'll be sure to let you know all the details once they become finalized!
Also, this may not be implemented at the same time as the dragoon adjustments, but we plan on adding "Healing Breath IV" to Wyverns and increasing the number of status ailments that can be cured by "Remove Breath."
As we have explained before, we hope you understand that Ternary Flourish was implemented with future growth in mind. We plan on strengthening this ability through equipment and merits, and we appreciate your patience as we do so.
We plan on adjusting all jobs, but our highest priorities right now are adjusting puppetmaster, corsair, scholar, dragoon, and warrior’s firepower. We will be working on these job adjustments in order of priority.
In response to a comment asking for Charis Casaque (+1 and +2) to apply to Ternary Flourish as well... if Charis Casaque (+1 and +2) also increased the effects of Ternary Flourish, they would be too powerful as gear items, so we do not plan on implementing those adjustments.
Also, Flourish-type abilities are not separated by rank or effectiveness, but are separated so that they are useful in different situations, so even if an item were to increase the effects of Ternary Flourish, the effects would not be exactly the same as "increasing the effects of Striking Flourish."
Please continue to offer up your feedback on how you want dancer to shine and we will use them as reference points when we think of support abilities for dancers.
I'm afraid of what they mean by adjusting "warrior's firepower". I hope that means increasing it!
How about fucking fixing Summoner?
I thought they were referring to nerfing restraint, but maybe that's just me.
Ya I have a feeling that they'll be slowly "adjusting" AKA nerfing stuff on War to bring it more inline with other jobs. Probably test server is gathering parsing data or some crap. It's kinda sad but I'm almost betting that the restraint nerf won't be the only one. In other news though Sam will most likely get some boosts and a 5 hit crit WS @99.
