    It's like square is trying to kill off end game shells with the shit, you could be just effective joining PUG as you could any end game group, you can even get the filler crap from PUGs that shout full city lines, zilart and other shit.

    Endlessly grinding away on one NM because the people that actually need the items are not getting it while the people who run around on COR, BST, THF, DNC, WHM, RDM, ECT are all getting the shit they don't want, would it be to difficult to script a timed trade on r.ex gear from the moment you get it like how you can with gear that binds in WoW?

    It's a very tedious system to work with and it kills my motivation to even try and farm the crap, I'm all for shit drop rates, it lengthens the time that you can clear the content, but I'm not for being unable to direct where gear can go.

    Now that Camate is safely in an unspecified location and can't be taken hostage...

    When the recently revealed roadmap didn’t mention the renewal of Salvage there was some concern on how to obtain alexandrite, so we'd like to provide details on what we're planning. Our plans to renew Salvage haven't changed, but they aren't set to take place until six months from now.

    In regards to the availability of alexandrite, we do believe that alexandrite will be easier to obtain after our renewal of Salvage, but we also understand that something needs to be done regarding alexandrite before that happens. Thus we plan on adjusting the drop rates of alexandrite in Salvage and adding NMs that drop alexandrite in Nyzul Isle when we renew the "Nyzul Isle Investigation" content. We also don't have any plans on lowering the amount of alexandrite necessary to create mythic weapons.

    We plan on moving forward with development as stated above, so please continue to provide us with your feedback.
    No salvage renewal for 6 months but increase in alexandrite from Salvage mobs and from NMs in Nyzul (whether new or old mobs, unclear).

    I honestly didn't expect them to ever do anything for Alexandrite, so this is a pleasant surprise.

    Wondering what they'll do here. Alexandrite from all mobs (not just machinery)? Double purses from NMs? Guaranteed Linen at boss? Guess we'll find out. Hopefully they effectively increase the total per run by at least 50%.

    100% linen from bosses by itself would be pretty amazing to be honest.

    At least having some dropping in Nyzul could be helping by allowing at least some Alexendrite to drop while your trying to fulfill another requirement. Still a little sketchy but it's more then what's been doing with it before.

    In case people haven't seen, one of the community rep posts on dev tracker said that they are planning on having the test server updated with the new content at the end of the week. This is probably obvious since the end of the month is next Monday and the timeline did list the updates for October, but I'd think the stuff would be up on the test server on Thursday or Friday based on that comment.

    If you're using 20ppp like a heathen, sure. But the 100-page rule was created under 30ppp rules (and hence meant 3000 posts), and only (afaik) applies to image-heavy threads like RIT/FoD.

    We generally close threads when they reach around 100 pages with the default setting. (20 posts per page.) At least that is how Random Question works.

    Pretty certain Random Question is 100 pages at 30 ppp; I see things at 30ppp and it's at 96 pages now, and all the others are 100.

    still, there's plenty of precedent for mostly-text threads going past 3000 posts. relic thread, magian thread, spellcast thread, BLU thread, LHC thread, fitness thread, occupy wallstreet thread, MLB thread, MMA thread... 9 threads on the first page of the first 2 sections I thought to look at.

    RQT reaches 60 pages before lock on my settings, this one is on page 40. personally I don't care if its not image heavy, it makes searching for things eaiser sometimes (BLU, magian thread)
