I haven't kept up with my sister regarding teacher employment scene, though I think she's trying to get me to teach at her school when I graduate. (Or just really pushing observations.)

Fun Fact: My father was an accountant in the Army. My mother was studying to be an Elementary school teacher when she met my father and subsequently dropped out of college to raise his 3 kids. My sister has her Master's in SpEd, I'm gearing up for a Master's in 2nd Ed, and my brother has some high paying government job with something about terrorists and No Fly Lists which he was given through his Military Intelligence work during his service in the Army.

It is clear I am a woman in my family. I did not join the Army and I am studying to teach.
