    Dunno, I agree with most things posted here (about pixar and dreamworks) but I've seen like... 7 or 8 times cars and would see it again.

    I like Dreamworks more than Pixar (animals > machines, always), but I haven't been a fan of Dreamworks' recent stuff aside from HtTYD. Really hoping the sequel to that doesn't suck, ruining it would be terrible.

    [edit] Beg to differ about Cars 'not being a homerun' for Pixar - its merchandising prowess alone pushed them to make Cars 2. Cars merch sells like CRAZY.

    I guess it's a good thing that sequels don't actually change the original then.

    I like Dreamworks, but I do absolutely despise that face they do (as shown in the image). I dunno why it annoys me so much, but it does.

    Sometimes, DWs movies just don't have good art direction either, gets a little... uncanny valley at times.

    Cars 2 sequel actually looks better than the original solely on the virtue that it appears to be a satire of James Bond films, and if it lives up to their previous satire of action movies (Incredibles) it will be awesome.

    The movies are for KIDS though they don't really care about what a bunch of basement dwellers think.

    It's not like there were a society of talking trains when we were growing up or anything. These kids get it so easy.

    I actually consider A Bug's Life to be on roughly the same tier as Monsters, Inc. and the Incredibles. Hopper is the best Pixar villain (right above Syndrome).

    I'm not saying I don't like it, having rewatched it after Seven Samurai I really like it, but Monsters, Inc near the end is just ;_;
