The ONLY way to stop that is to detonate a ~10 kiloton fission device inside each reactor containment vessel and hope to vaporize the cores. That’s probably a bad solution.

He said use a 10 kiloton fission device in the reactors...10 kiloton is 10,000 tons of force explosive right??? Hiroshima/Nagasaki bombs were close to 1 megaton which was 1,000,000 tons of force in measurement...so if they were to detonate a 10 kiloton fission device, it'd be 100 times weaker than the nukes used in World War 2.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't exploding a nuclear warhead in the reactors release more radiation and just worsen the reactions? <_<; I thought the way to put a damper on nuclear reactions is to have something that absorbs free neutrons and the like, keeping them from colliding into other atoms and splitting them, which prevents those split atoms from releasing more free neutrons that continue the reaction.
