We have a collection of masters+ educated professors that graduate 2-year associate degree students AND make less than those students.
Reason for failing grades? No child left behind, but don't even fucking get me started.
Starting out is hard. You are right. But once you are tenured, its over and you have it easy.
But also how many new teachers do we really get!? Its not the new ones people complain about. One of the reasons for this "busting" is to give new teachers and kids a shot.

1) you defund education, kinda hard to read when they cut off your light
2) as the bolded quote says ... you just change the scores to fit your message.
3) blame the teachers for the low test scores you just produced
4) convince the parents to pull that "failed school to charter school" trigger
5) rake in their tax dollars

opt your kids out of NCLB: http://bartlebyproject.com/
if you're a student, opt yourself out of them.
although NCLB is setup such that an opt out is counted as a fail, so the teachers still lose
I fully believe we should leave failing children behind.
Not sure if serious...
But, I'll leave this here anyways.
