Any intelligent DRK would agree with you. We're a little behind, which is sad, but I don't feel that it is unbalanced enough to warrant some emergency boost. Any possible issue with DRK could easily be fixed with some simple adjustments and boosts in the next few updates.

Now, if they give us another JT like Tactical Parry in the next update while giving WAR another critical or double attack or attack speed boost, then it might be grounds to complain.

I tried making a reasonable post regarding this in the DRK forums and some cuntwaffle said I know nothing about DRK lol

^From the forums. Yeah, that guy is an idiot. I used to post on GFaqs all the time, and his ideas were shot down rather hard there too. He made all kinds of pics on how the UI should be, most of them were stupidly convoluted messes of shit. Also, he only ever focused on the menu portion of the UI, I see he's now expanded his idiocy into stuff like walking and controls.

Fun tidbit, this guy spammed the forums for a while talking about how he wanted to be a girl and that he was going to get a sex change, cutting off the wang and everything. Pics of him wearing a bra and panties surfaced at one point, I think. Unsure if he posted them or someone else dug through his photobucket account though. I really didn't put much effort into finding out, caring or paying attention. Think he was also a bit like Stephano too, IIRC posting "accomplishments" that were commonplace and nobody gave a shit about because anyone that mattered had done it better and faster and long ago, or lolmerits.

TL,DR: Guy's an idiot. Take Starcade focusing on UI and add Stephano's post-blogging/whining/bragging about stupid shit, and subtract a wiener.

I was actually somewhat successful in shutting down one of his last rantings on the GFaqs forum. It doesn't seem to matter what you say about their idea, they just flaunt whatever devry-esque game design "degree" and say you're a knob.


I'm reading their post over on the official forums now.. It's like watching a flow chart of every argument they've ever had on the UI. At some point they will get shut down and just stop posting.


I'm awaiting their post about how there is no actual booklet sold with the game anymore. I'm pretty sure that's the case now. With most of the stuff being sold via steam or digitally, I don't think SE gives the full manual like they used to in the past.

I honestly have no idea what the fuck you meant by this. Are you saying that people are downplaying the legitimacy of an injury and the complications that result of it? If so, fuck that bullshit. Just because pain makes you play less doesn't mean it makes you play shitty.

I have a back injury, bad knees, and a fucked up neck, and I spend more time reading about FFXI than I do playing it. When I do, I may be technically casual, but I understand how the game's mechanics work, can explain them to others (and provide references), and gear my character as well as possible within my means. Doing Magian trials isn't out of the question. It doesn't rely on endgame Linkshells or anything of the sort.

That fucker is just a lazy ass son of a bitch using what could be a legitimate issue as a poor excuse.

But doing Magian staffs is physically more intensive because you have to reach for the box/moogle. Other events like Tiamat just make you stare at some Wyrm's feet at face level.
