Seems that way. If there are more, they don't speak up much with the reputation those two have. No one ever wants to be seen agreeing with Starcade. That's just asking to become a social outcast and laughing stock for life.

Wow.... This Starcade guy has some serious issues. The only reason he plays FFXI is to "spit at attitudes like yours". Someone should take his pc/xbox/ps2 away from him, that can't be healthy at all.

Ah hah hah, this is so much fun to watch. As soon as I saw the notes I was waiting for the explosion, and this is too rich.

We need to put up a thank-you troll thread to Krystal and all the other anti-abyssea crew; clearly the game is no longer ruined because you'll have to exp outside of abyssea now!

Oh god yes. I've been itching to do this myself, but I don't think I'd be able to hold myself back from just openly mocking them and getting the thread locked/nuked.

I couldn't get away with it either. XD I may get snarky at times on the forums but I haven't really done anything to shoot my reputation to hell, and a troll thread would be the first big step in establishing that.

Plus I'd totally crack up way too many times in the process. I can't keep a poker face to save my life. D:

I checked that thread about 15 minutes ago, and the stupidity is just mind-blowing. I've been ranting off and on since Page16, and even though I don't think I've said anything that bad, I'm still waiting to be either moderated to hell or temp-banned any time now.

Wow the QQs on the Official Forums are amazing. Dude. No more getting up at 4AM and sleeping between intervals to get outclaimed by the fail ls that barely manages to kill it before it rages so you end up staying up and raaaaaaaaaging about how much they suck and then you're wide awake at like 6AM pissed off at <Fail LS> for being as sucktastic as they are but having to sit and babysit in case they actually do wipe so we can be able to claim while half of them do stupid shit like damn near cause a flail or their weakened people keep dying to Wing. And even worse, <Fail LS> gets Ridill because good stuff always drops for retards. So you raaaaaaage even harder at how this game rewards people for being retarded when having actual skill gets you nothing but aggravation.

Now you can schedule a night to burn like two dozen KS99s and then you can go to the Aery two nights later and spam two dozen Fafnirs and maybe even a few Nids and then you can wait another three months before fucking having to run there. Seriously what the fuck is the goddamn problem? And people will still bitch about having to run to DA one fucking time a month or something when it was infinitely more annoying to run there every single day.

No more tracking ToDs, no more bot claiming, and no more uber-wtflag. Oh, and all the whiners about how no one xps outside Abyssea anymore was solved in that in order to get KS, you have to exp outside of Abyssea. How is anyone not seeing this as a win solution that SE took way too fucking long to implement?

I'm going to miss the kings camp, not that I've camped kings much in the past two years, and it feels like the end of an era, but the caterwauling over this change is unbelievable.

I thought about the same thing while staring at my spreadsheets. I never camped Kings, but as a BG lurker for years, I did get to see some of the drama, screenshots, and pages of drama posts born from Kings camps. I'll (shamefully) copypasta my thoughts on the subject:

Spiders and Darters will run rampant through Fafnir, and his Flails will carpet the Aery floor with the dead. Disgruntled players will block the kite paths of mages at King Behemoth, and his Meteor will strike everyone down with great vengeance and furious anger. Aspid will drool like he's never drooled before.

Oh, there will a flurry of GM calls and appearances and racist/sexist insults of every kind. MPKs and 'stolen' HNMs. Forum post after forum post warning on this guy for ninja lotting a Wyrm Beard and that girl for ninja lotting a D.Ring. Some players will earn themselves temp or perma bans. Every quick fight, astonishing wipe, MPK, and stolen HNM will take place in front of an audience, each wanting to pop their damn NM already.

Oh, I predict right now that, on Asura, this May will prove itself a glorious May.

I think the post-update weeks will prove prove themselves to be funny. Of course, it'll die down after a few weeks after everyone burns through their cache of Kindred Seals.

You have officially made me pumped for the update. I'm gonna outpop the shit out of everyone at everything and act like an asshole for lulz, and hold pops til right before they rage to kill them. I think we should all do this, it will greatly increase the fun and the noobemorage. Unless real players are also waiting on you, then it wouldn't be as fun. But anyone on the servers with those people complaining, you should cockblock them as much as possible, and SS the /say wars for the random fail thread.
