Starcade comes across as a raving lunatic (who happens to be capable of writing proper English) - the fact that not a single person has voiced their support of his views seem to have completely escaped him. He's worse than Rambus, Hordecore, Naturebeckles, Krystal and Pchan combined in his ability to make me facedesk.

Agreed, he's basically threatening violence, and if someone said that about, say, a sports match, local parade, or other such gathering then I can't imagine the organizers just shrugging it off.

He really calls to mind the visual of some pimply-faced kid absolutely raging out after he loses a Magic the Gathering game, flipping over a table, and calling everyone a cheater.

I'd really like to know how he decided that everyone playing MTG but him was cheating.

Back in 1994 the MUD I was playing at the time held a meet in the UK. I didn't go but I heard later on that there was a huge brawl after one player punched another because of something they had done on the game (it was a PK MUD). Nerd rage.

And yeah, I think I will now skip any future west coast Fanfests.

My main is a Paladin I can solo the majority of the NMs in abyssea. However I can not kill Cuelebre.

This mob is very poorly designed due to the fact I can not melee it since it is always flying. I ask you SE to make it so this NM Cuelebre lands from time to time to give melee a chance to kill it. Its not really fair to not be able to have a fair chance at killing this NM because my job is a melee class.

I am going around collecting all the abyssites and atmas on my Paladin I am about 85% of the way done and this mob blocking me at the moment since I can't get the Viridian abyssite of destiny, and Atma of the Claw.

It seems starcade is butthurt that SE deleted his threat post.

So when is Square-Enix going to get it and understand that my presence in FFXI is probably:

Hey, Square-Enix... I've been banned from basically everything in this game but these forums and the game itself.

If the social nature of this game is THAT important to you that you are going to deliberately turn your back on fair play to keep "the customers" happy, then you have but one alternative: My removal from FFXI.

I will not "contribute to the discussion" of a playerbase hell-bent on the creation of a cheat-fest.

I would be far more "Threatening" in that concept than anything said here so far.
If you are that dead-set on allowing these people to run over your game, then you don't want me on it.

Holy shit, just finished reading Starcades latest antics, the dude is a serious psychopath, I'm amazed that he's able to function in society at all with out flying off the handle at every little thing.
