I waited a day to add tags because SE has removed my tags twice from that thread so far but it seems other people are starting to add tags again as well.

Still reading the SE buying Windower thread, Starcade does provide a lot of entertainment. I do have one question, what's the deal with Debbie Gibson? Is that from a previous thread or something?

This may clear it up a bit for you. He previously went to jail for this reason:

"Debbie Gibson was stalked in the late 90s by Michael Falkner, who was also known on the ISCABBS as "Starcade." After harassing the singer through email and posting thinly-veiled rape threats on Usenet, Falkner decided to visit Ms. Gibson in New York while she was appearing in Beauty & The Beast at the Palace Theater. Gibson recognized Falkner as he waited outside a stage door for her. She hid inside the theater and called the cops. And Starcade went to jail, but not before making The Daily Show and CNN, of all places."

He's stated he's gone to jail... and according to someone digging (See here), this was him. This may or may not necessarily be true, though he has made a remark on the official forum... someone quoted it. Here we go: link.
