i had 75's before abyssea and i never gear swapped to each his own i know i will get flamed but im not gonna drag around 8 different sets of gear i swap staves but not much more than that. and if u say no gear swap you not getting full potential i can dual box better than some of you single

Honestly though, if I had to say my one major pet peeve on these forums after they've been up for a week is the following:

"Why do you want this game to be more like WoW?"

Examples:
"We should be able to invite someone from any zone, not just from the same region." General agreement follows, then one post: "Why do you want this game to become a WoW clone?"

"Abyssea has made this game super easy like WoW."

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE.

The games are so vastly fucking different you can hardly even compare the two. Square Enix can't turn XI into WoW, not without deleting everything and starting from scratch. It has been the one thing pissing me off the most that I've been reading over there. Especially coming from a bunch of people who've never touched WoW and don't know any damn better. And to be honest, at this point, I'd say FFXI has become easier than WoW, so any fucktard claiming they don't want this game to get easier because it'll turn into WoW have already lost that battle.

That's my one main complaint, and the more I see it, the more I rage.

Those forums are great fun actually. The amount of stupid... Krystal and Naturebeckles are the prime culprits. Krystal goes on and on as if exping is the only thing to do in FFXI and Beckles... well, enough said about her recently. Both of course call you a horrendous troll if you disagree with them and ignore all logic etc etc...

The only reason I compared ffxi to wow was the fact someone was whining about getting attacked wile doing other things. WoW has a sort of flag system that if you are in alliance/horde territory you choose whether to get attacked or not. I quit wow for a reason, but yes there a few people i would love to nuke the shit out of at random on ffxi lol and baillista is just retarded- used to do it way back when but its just not as fun as an all out rape fest.

Well it is right about one thing, that clan of retarded followers has the potential to be more vocal than the intelligent portion of the NA community.

It's just so funny that almost everyone advocating for higher level cap in Abyssea has absolutely no substantial gear despite how easy things are now, no more than 3 jobs above 75 and no understanding - nor care - of game mechanics.

Not on all servers. On most servers, you're flagged any time you're in a contested area.

And my main beef with people comparing WoW are the people who have never played it, and think that by adding anything good to FFXI which also happens to be in WoW makes this game the exact same thing.
