Not from the official forums, but impressive none-the-less. I post that Saber Dance gives "only" >20% Double Attack, and the second reply I get is basically "Thanks for confirming the JA is only good for WSs. I've always thought that!" Goddamned Dancers.

That stupid tard Akujima is trying to convince SE to make mobs/HNM that exclusively take damage from ranged attacks just so that he can feel justified in using shuriken on his shitty nin. I really hope SE doesn't listen to him because having important monsters that exclusively force a single job on them tends to be bad design. No skeletons vs mnk doesnt count because we got whms for meleeing and/or lolbanish spam.

So after my post was edited by the mods and the names were removed, I re-edited it and put in things like *looking at you, you know who you are* or *HI STALKER PERSON*. This resulted in them editing my post again and temp-banning me. Don't touch mod-edits apparently. >_>

Is AV still zergable? I thought they patched that a long time ago.

Also, why does he keep throwing the word Dynamic in there. Is there a meaning of it that's "a horrible idea that will just makes the mob to much of a piss off to bother with?"

Easily. Perfect Defense and 4+ well-geared, buffed DDs can destroy AV. Souleater doesn't work any more of course, but it's not like it's really necessary. Heck, we tend to skimp on even Dancers some of the time. We tend to win with SV'd Marchx2/Minx2 + RCBs all around, using 2-3 Emps (Vereth and Masamune x1-2) and a couple other DDs.

While it is amazing, It simply doesn't even come close to anything remotely broken, Compared to any real DD.

I'll use THF as an Example, My THF Evisc Low-Averages ~2,000 damage most mobs(Varies obv, for this time I'm using Bugards as an Example in Ab(Vunk), We'll use that as an Example. A Summoner's Heavenly Strike, When properly geared, Will Average about 5k. Now, On THF, When I'm buffed with Haste alone, I can probably get TP Every ~10 Seconds, Less if Triple Attack likes me. So every ~10 Seconds i do 2,500 + about an additional 1.5k from Melee (or more). So I'm doing like... 11k~+ Damage every 30 seconds, While a SMN does 5k every ~45 seconds (Without above Atma). Even with Above Atma, They're not matching my THF in damage even using Low-numbers. This just gets even more 1-sinded if I'm getting Marches or Haste Samba.

Bloodpacts can peak ~11k With Set bonus, But even at 35 seconds pet Bloodpact, It wouldn't remotely make up for anything a real DD Can do :\, Which is sad.

I think if anything it leveled the playing field, especially since its limited to Abyssea, the broken-est areas in the game.

Oh it's nowhere near as strong as the effect of Haste on real DDs, I know. I was simply stating that it definitely is a strong DD boost, as opposed to being no big deal. Honestly, at this point they could probably lower the 45s BPD cap and still be fine. The only potentially "game breaking" aspect to removing/lowering the cap would be the fact that Summoner could hit the new BPD cap (whatever it's changed to be, it'll probably still be able to hit it) solo while DDs need other jobs around to give them marches/haste/samba.
