I'm on page 2 of this retarded thread and I'm amused, among the varied points that got brought up, no one mentioned that the early 75 AV items only existed because K.club/SE zerg wasn't patched yet.

So much for dynamis strategy.

Edit: Was touched on by Ravenmore two posts below where I broke to write this one. Should have been weaponized more, though.

People post those attention whoring threads on the WoW forums too, they're always so disappointed when no one tells them that they'll be missed or that no one cares that they're quitting. Most everyone who calls FFXI a WoW clone has never played WoW, lol

Pretty much. Same as people calling WoW easy. There are a lot of challenging aspects to that game, it got its easy rap because of how easy it was to get to the level cap in comparison to FFXI. Endgame though, I'd even go as far as to say WoW is harder, as you have to not only be aware of your damage and when to/not to damage, but to move the fuck out of the way of certain moves, which FFXI really doesn't do. FFXI is more like, stay out of AoE range and you're good to stay put the entire fight.
