Also, someone should suggest (if it's not already there somewhere) that they turn the image sig feature off. There is no reason for SE to allow that shit. It's distracting as hell when it's supposed to be about game feedback and some people really don't know how to reasonably limit the size of their images. As we've seen.

And while they're at it, they should impose a character or height limit to keep people from being like

What pissed me off most of this one is that they not only quote a retarded version of the Sith Code and credit it to -Dark Knight, as if that's a fucking person who said it, but it's present TWICE. Also, is it just me or is that a shooped face in the bottom right? Hard to tell, but it doesn't quite look like a stock XI face.

Please oh please tell me someone actually photomanipulated their own face onto that shitty sig.

Care to post a copy of that email so I know what to look for while skimming my email if I ever get banned from ffxi for posting on the forums (highly likely)?

It's just the stock disclaimer added to every email they send you when they edit/delete a post of yours. I don't see what's so scary about it. Yeah, they can ban you from FFXI if you make a big enough mess on the forums. I still highly doubt it'll happen. You'd have to piss the mods off something fierce to get a ban that heavy.

A while back there was a fuckhuge sig we at BG worked on that defined "horrible". It featured a mithra, shooped Sehl'teus wings, shitty love quotes, horrible colors, and was around 1024 pixels. I looked in the "bad sig" thread and I couldn't find it. It'd be awesome if someone could make that their sig, then we can see once and for all if there is a limit to sigs!

I also hate how the "view first unread post" triangle thingy is only working on threads from a few days ago but any new threads don't update like I've read them at all. Shit's annoying.

I think that our next group project should be to come up with absolutely horrendous signatures for the official forums, stick them in our signatures, and wait until the forum mods get the message.

Also, I've found a place with even stupider comments than the forum: the CNN Facebook page and their threads. The people on the official forums look like fucking geniuses next to the morons panicking about the Japan nuclear crisis.

Gonna say this again. I can't log in. I do not have an FFXI account. I have not had an account for about a year and a half (whenever they banned me, which was well after I'd quit, but meh). So as much as I'd like to change these things, I can't do anything about it.
