I've spoken about this before, but I think it needs to be mentioned again, as it's a real problem I think Square Enix needs to fix, and the sooner the better.

Equipment Swapping during battle

This has become a very big part of Final Fantasy's gameplay, and I think it needs to be improved.

1. They need to fix the annoying "blink" effect that occurs when changing equipment that has a visual impact on the character. This cancels your current target and is very annoying, especially if you are trying to heal the person. Either make the player unable to change gear during battle or stop this annoying side-effect from happening.

2. Add an option to the configuration menu that allows players to filter out the equipment change note in your battle log. It drives me nuts how changing gear often to improve my performance floods by battle log with this useless message, causing me to miss important changes in the battle.

I think most of the people posting that they want the limit upped are those who can't get leech spots...

I can't remember the last time I was in a full alliance for Abyssea exp. I usually 2box pages, and it's a lot more efficient, and a lot less retarded.

Both points are moot due to <stpt> and <stal> macro options. Assuming that's not a troll post, his ignorance of in-game mechanics does not constitute a need for those changes. I'd post this in that thread if I had my token with me. D:

The second point he makes is talking about the chatlog spam. I'm not sure how <stpt> and <stal> have anything to do with that.

I'm assuming he means "Equipment changed." spam in chat log when he hits a macro. Which the Silence plug-in for Windower takes care of. I don't think there's is any way to filter it out using the game menu? And <stpt> and <stal> certainly doesn't have anything to do with that part.

Go go gadget reading comprehension. >.<;; That's what I get for skimming. Second option kinda makes sense, but you can Hold chat filters, expand the chatlog, and if you're in Salvage, have a different macro pallet that doesn't have gear swaps. /devil'sadvocate
