I saw that really annoying female player posting over there said something about Beating CoP the "hard way" in 2007.
Didn't they start updating CoP in 2006 to make it less frustrating to players?

Maybe it was more in the tail end of 2007/2008. I remember doing CoP as they started removing xp loss from various missions.
