According to Elmer's translated update history, you could originally put up to 8 items on the AH. However in July 2002 they nerfed it to 7 slots. I think it's time to undo this Tanaka-era nerf.

My new sig. A work in progress.

Your sig needs to be taller.
I'm going to bed. When I wake up, I expect intelligent life to have been found on other planets, climate change to have been solved, peace to have broken out in the middle east and the game to be turned on. At least one of these need to be true.

Don't know if this was posted but this guy used to be in Empresshields LS on Valefor I used to be in the LS w/ him. He's a complete idiot and used to ramble on about random shit he hated about the game. lol I think its just funny seeing someone I used to get yelled at for calling an idiot showing his true colors.
OMFG- i swear if i see another whm complain its too hard to keep dds alive im going to puke. If its that hard, here's an idea- retire your whm. /facepalm
here's the problem with that logic.
I'd say about 90% of people who have whm leveled play it sooo fucking shitty so people will stop asking them to come whm so they can play less useful jobs.
"Pld/Dnc/Drg/Drk/Sam/Bst/Rng" comes to mind when I hear people Q.Q'n about whm.
So instead of going their 1/2 ass geared whm , they instead go their 1/2 ass geared <"Insert generic shitty job here that has 0 business in abyssea in the first place">
Lost count of how many times I've played whm while in a party with a blu not gear swap'n or sporting full aurore while I bang my head on my keyboard cause they are too fucking fail to be useful.
Yea thats what im saying- I solo heal most nms for my LS unless i wanna go blm for giggles, but reading these official forums every whm there is whining how hard curing dd is. If i can do it after drinking a bottle of vodka any retard with a couple of macros can. Hell, half the time i zone out start watching a movie and just smack macros out of habit and lo and behold win with no deaths. It is by far the easiest job there is
Lol- please don't tell my ls that they will keel me lol.
This so much. I swear sometimes people practically fall asleep on purpose whenever they come WHM so that they'll be asked to come on some shitty DD in the future. After dealing with it for years now, I've pretty much determined to make people come WHM anyways and sit in a corner if they can't be useful. I don't do anything without at least one competent healer anyways, even if it's me, so if they need to cover the whole alliance/party/whatever themselves they'll do it.
From XIV forums, but XI is the topic...and this one was just too classic not to post here.
You'll be like
Then you'll be like
Spoiler: show
Lol! Seems like XIV is getting some of the overflow tards. I played it like twice and got bored, I may go to it if 11 ever shuts down for good though
This almost makes me want to sign up for the forum and have this as my sig and find posts like that and only post
"Please see sig".

have a guy in our ls who abyssea'd his rdm, and only subs nin on it cuz he doesnt have whm or blm or sch sub....reminds me of that person lol
It'll be worth checking out in maybe 3-6months. They're making pretty good progress. That thread was actually pretty awesome. XIV and XI launches were far more similar than people realize. I remember that stuff getting linked here wayyyy back.

Lol! that is the best sig ever! just make sure any of your responses have at least ten characters or you get the banstick for a few hours
FFXIV (and I suppose FFXI back when it first launched) are lucky they have a company the size of SE backing them. Most MMOs never recover from that poor of a launch. Take a look at Age of Conan, Warhammer, or Aion (in the US at least). All of them got a ton of people at launch, the launch crashed and burned, and a mass exodus followed.
I was hoping for something more like Rift out of FFXIV. The game might be all sorts of derivative, but it launched in an extremely polished state, with a nice amount of content available.
