As a Purdue fan, I feel a lot less terrible about losing to VCU than I did a week ago.

The guy who is leading the whole ESPN bracket challenge has three teams in the final four and will have four if Kentucky wins this one. He has VCU winning the whole thing; it would crack me up if the guy is a USC homer and was expecting them to go all the way.

So, someone on another board was saying how the field should be reduced to 32 teams because the current system rewards those who are hot right now.

Someone then made a really good response.

"Let's leave it all up to the computers and have the Top 2 RPI-ranked teams at the end of the season play for it all. Call it the RPI Championship Game."
