Barely into the video so I can't comment on it just yet. However I went to Google this guy's company that he claims is so great. One of the things that Google suggested while I was typing in his name was "Stansberry investment scam". Seems like his company is full of crap from what I've seen, especially after finding this run in he had with the SEC.

Accidentally closed the window right as he was (finally) about to explain how he thinks people should protect their savings, but I'm going to go out on a wild limb and guess that it was something along the lines of "invest your money with an institution in which I coincidentally have a vested financial interest" considering the amount of fear-mongering that was going on throughout the whole video. Seriously, he repeated the same thing about fifteen times before actually getting into the facts - "our very way of life is going to change, and SOON" - and if I remember correctly he said something like "I predict there will be riots in the streets and martial law declared throughout the country".
Whilst he's not wrong about the dollar being in trouble, I'd warn heavily against taking whatever advice he gave. Corporations are taxed too heavily? Obama is a socialist that wants to spread the wealth? The kinds of people who usually say those sorts of things never have your best interests at heart.
hmm, i wasn't expecting anyone to pay for that shit, more of "is this information credible to the extent of a major crisis" because some of those things seemed viable, like the decrease of the dollar over the past few years. sorry for wasting everyones time...

This is where the BS comes in, since if as many people invested in gold/silver as they are wouldn't it create a "bubble" where the value grows, then suddenly plummets?
