Is it "jiffs" or "giffs"? I've always said "giffs" but now she has me questioning myself.
what the... how.. .who... what is she... wtf... what
Spoiler: show
is "jiffs"
the above image is a "giff"
at least that is what makes the most sense to me.
i'm with you wooz.
I'd like to Jiff that giff.
Proper English pronunciation says that when the letters C or G are followed by an E or an I, it is a soft sound rather than a hard sound. This also usually applies with the letter Y, though I think there are more exceptions with Y.
It always bugged the crap out of me when people would pronounce Aegis with a hard G.
Yes, I am a bit of a grammar Nazi.
I've always said Jiffs, meh. Also, I'm fairly surprised how... intelligent she acts. Is it just me being weird? lmao
Yeah no such thing as rules without exceptions in this language. But generally speaking, the rule I stated is the norm.
really cause i always pronounce it gee eye eff.. As it's an abbreviation not a word in itself. like A.S.A.P i don't like to say asap i always say the letters.
Who the fuck said Aegis w/ a hard G? Have they never heard the term outside of FFXI? I fucking hated being on vent and listening to ppl mispronounce shit in general (the jp named stuff was particularly awful... haidate, kote, etc)
So why does this video get so much attention? I tried watching the video but it just seems like a generic teenage song I had to force myself to finish it <_<
What the fuck is a hard G?
Like the G in guy or gun or game.
