well there's gotta be something in the water. A-Cups and Mortal Kombat is(are OH NO, HELP ME KSANDRA) banned in Aus.
are D:
Also, the other dude only stepped in once it became clear the bully couldnt..well... walk
Nice eyebrow piercing, my god what a punk.
Ditto, he's trying to. It's pretty obvious the little rat sees himself as a punk badass (sup eyebrow piercing) so there's no way he was the one tormented. Also he only felt remorse because the reporter/his father pretty much made him feel it...
At least the dad sounds somewhat sincere, so I doubt the legal recourse will even be taken.
Cameraman + Ritchard PoV. Cameraman is on Ritchard's side which is unsurprising, seeing as he's his friend.
Ritchard and the cameraman couldn't sound any less sincere
You don't understand, he was on Oprah for filming that.
i agree with you, but i still dont see any difference in the justification from the degree of the bullying itself. instigators are just as bad as the punchers, imo. the one kid i was really angry with was the tall kid in the background, who only seemed to come at casey when he was either not willing to fight, or just got out of a fight and out of breath from the adrenaline and suplex he delivered. kids like that, make me feel pity towards them.
its funny how we evolve when we get older. even when taking kick boxing classes, the bigger 220 lb guys who runs their mouth give me no fear in what i have in me to unleash the potential to defend myself and react to their overdramatic forms, but the quiet small ones are the ones who scare me, and i never know whats coming. luckily, that tall kid was talking shit in that video lol, so that waivers anything "skilled" of what a stereotypical bully has to offer. well.. to me at least.
"And then I went to hit him again, and he must have known some kind of fighting style(spot? spoil? I can't tell what he's saying through those ginormous teeth of his) because he blocked me really quick"
FUCKING LOL. HE BLOCKED ME SO HE KNOWS HOW TO FIGHT. There's nothing special about putting your arm in front of someone trying to fucking hurt you.
The two kids look like assholes, and are by extension pretty stupid for looking like that when they're trying to get sympathy. Eye piercing, dirty nails, baseball cap worn on the back of the head, and stupid "TAPOUT" shirts on camera, they don't get it at all. Had he just apologized he'd literally be forgotten by the world and by his peers in a few weeks. But instead he wants the world to believe the fat kid with acne and an obvious self confidence problem owes HIM an apology?
I can't believe people are actually falling for this horrendously bad attempt at saving face when the kid said he's NOT sorry on camera and changed his answer because his dad was waving his finger at him off-camera or some shit.
I wouldn't say anyone's really falling for it, anyone with an ounce of insight can tell that even IF Casey started it (big if), Ritchard was clearly trying to egg him on and Casey's body language says he didn't want a fight.
That said, I hope the two make it out of the public eye unscathed. Casey will probably benefit as long as it doesn't go to his head (from the brief interview he seemed like a genuinely well adjusted kid) but even though Ritchard is a little shithead, I don't know if any 13 year old deserves the entire world hating them for doing moronic 13 year old shit. I can't imagine he'll turn out better or worse than he would have otherwise, but its pretty clear its not going to help him in the long run.
seriously, what a fucking shit
"are you sorry?"
"no"
looks at dad...
"er, um, yes"...
that entire video you can tell 100% the only thing he's sorry about is that he got his shit smashed, and he has every intention of carrying on exactly the same, except maybe trying to avoid doing it to people who can break him in half
I don't buy his bullshit for a second. The kid I threw into a wall that bullied me immediately went to a "he started it and hit me first" story to try and get out of trouble.
Also, lol at "Casey's mom posted it". I also love that Facebook was how they "knew" even though Ritchard claims to have not been on it recently.
Some people are falling for it, for sure. You could murder someone, deny it for a while, go to court and deny it, deny it some more, and people(some) will eventually believe you.
As for a 13 year old not deserving the hate? Absolutely. No kid can really be held responsible for what they did since they just don't always think rationally. However, I do wish people would keep praising Casey, which would put this kid down and hopefully get him to legitimately question what he did(not this bullshit about, "I'm sorry I hit you, I should have gone to the office instead" gone to the office to do what? hit someone else? tell an adult you wanted to hit someone? tell someone you're angry? wat). But instead these stupid people(other side of the spectrum of the people who are believing his sympathy) are sending him death threats which just give him and his family something to complain about which makes the sympathy card stronger.
I was never once got bullied in High/Middle school. We had a count of about 4,000 high school students and 2,000 middle school students. As far as I know, there wasn't a single, "bully." People talked shit, and had the occasional fight (1-2 a year), but from what I remember, there weren't any bullies. I honestly thought for the longest time that bullies were just something that the media made up to make high school and middle school more dramatized.
