roooooooooffffffffffflllllll. Holy shit that was epic. When that dude picked him up I was like FUUUUUUCKKKKK. Couldn't stop laughing when the kid tried walking away. Kinda dumb the kid got suspended though. My high school had a 0 tolerance for fighting, but if the other guy hit you twice (which the scrawny guy did), they considered it self defense.

Being a victim of bullying when I was in middle school, I know how it can change your life for 3 years from going to school like normal, to going to school and just trying to avoid being hit or picked on day-by-day. I unfortunately was not and still am not a beast like Casey, and I could never lift someone my own weight or higher above my head like he did, so I just dealt with getting rocks and names tossed at me for my 3 years there.

As others have said, this is sadly one of the only ways to stop bullies from messing with you. You can either switch schools, tell on them (which in all likelihood will result in at worse the bully being talked to by a parent/school official), which will only be more fuel to the fire as they would want payback for you telling on them, or you can be like Ender from Ender's Game and make sure you beat the bully so bad, he will never even think of messing with you again. I'd rather see bullies get the shit beat out of them than to see another poor kid kill or hurt themselves over being tormented by bullies with no end in sight.

It's been 10+ years since I've read Ender's Game, but he kills multiple kids in that book. Not sure I'd be recommending that route here.

In fact, I'm fairly sure the time in question where he intends to beat the bully so bad he won't come back is one of the times where he actually kills him. They ship the bully home in a body bag.

I reluctantly have to agree with the majority that applaud this sort of behavior. I see where you're coming from but children don't think rationally, parents feel it isn't on them to shun bad behavior and good kids get caught in the middle.

For far too long we've been content with telling children to simply man up and walk away. While I agree with that statement for a conflict in public (especially as you get older), in school you really have no choice but to either defend yourself or make yourself the target of what may be years of torment. You're gonna see the bully daily, what will you do? Pretend he isn't there? lol

If you tell the teacher, you come off as tattler which when the teacher is away could set you up for a beating.

If you tell your parents, what can they do? Demand the bully be thrown out of school? Odds are bullies parents won't give a shit and your child is still stuck holding the bag.

You really have no choice but to either defend yourself or subject yourself to what may seem like eternal torment. Kudos to this kid for showing the bully that there are consequences for messing with "easy target". I bet he'll think twice the next time he decides to fuck with someone for no reason.

Very good post. It's extremely difficult to try to defend yourself especially if the bully is a lot bigger than you (and is physically bullying you). In this case It's the other way around, but still glad that the bully received his lesson. Though the slam was kinda dangerous, because it looked like the small boy was going to fall down face first. It's not exactly ideal that this kind of video is up on Fox, but hey It's what it is. If the system doesn't change, you can't keep fights like these from happening.
