SPI is the way to go. CC is full of mexicans that mean to woo you with songs then rob you with a blade whilst singing felix navidad. Galveston is nice, but the beach is fucking disgusting. Gross. Seriously. SPI is the way to go, and if you have free time and money, go to San Antonio. Stay away from niggaville ... errr.. houston.

Others have said the Texas State Aquarium, I will also vouch for this. Unless its gone into the shitter in the 8 years since I've been, it's freaking beautiful. Seriously, best Aqaurium I've been too.

Anyone in the CC/Bluff area - is George's still there? It's on the other side of freeway from the Flour Bluff Walmart/HEB. I freaking love their Greek Salad dressing.

Driving to SPI now. Left chi @ 11 sat and drove to denton in a straight 16 hr shot.. ughhh. 6 1/2 hrs from SPI now. Fucking gorgeous down here and i forgot how nice white ppl are ...when your also white

Nope, Georges closed down about 6 month ago or so. They are building a super Walmart beside where Fun-Trackers is, and going to nuke the Walmart you mentioned off of Waldron. Oh and not sure how long its been since youve been here, but that HEB is no longer in that Walmart parking lot, its on the other side of Waldron behind the TacoBell, McDonalds etc.

Aint no body hating son, Corpus Christi fucking blows dick hole. You've been here, don't front lol. Galveston too. Aint nothing nice about any of this coast shit down here unless you like shit brown water peppered with garbage and seaweed mounds on your vacation.

traffic isnt bad. gf is driving atm as i play pokemon. btw holy fucking shit @ okl city cops. they sat around in sets of 3 black chargers at every damn exit. they had someone pulled over on every road

Why on earth did you drive... fail vacation already. Also if you are in Denton you took the long way, should have went through Little Rock + Houston. GL not hitting any traffic in DFW, Austin, and San Antonio...

I'd go I-35W till Fort Worth, then I-35 South the whole way till San Antonio.

The stretch of I-35 from DFW to San Antonio is the most congested highway in Texas. Whenever I go to Austin/San Antonio, I take state highways through hill country, and get there in about the same amount of time.

Truth. I was just in Austin last week for SXSW and traffic was awful... seeing as it just ended and it's a Monday I bet traffic will be pretty bad again.

Was stuck in traffic for over an hour last Saturday afternoon trying to get to downtown Austin... yeah. Traffic is Austin is crap, they need to get another real interstate besides 35

i had to swing by and visit me maaaaa and my brother. plus it was cheaper. w orking on limited moneyz. 2 plane tickets were going to cosst us about 750 compared to 300 in gas even with gas prices at fuckuintheass rates.

There isn't a big enough of a Fuuuu face for this. Thats when I moved back to Texas. GODDAMMITITSOMUCH. Last time I was down there the only new change was they'd moved the whataburger down the street.

CC/Bluff area has a rose colored tint for me because my grandparents lived there so I remember nothing but good times in the area. They where over the bridge on Paul Jones ave. Hell, I remember when Flour Bluff drive was a road and not a freeway.

Edit: I drove through Austin on Wens / Fri to visit/come back from a friend in San Antonio, Traffic in Austin wasn't near as bad as it was in SA.
