It's wishful thinking to believe that what was done in a game can easily be done in another game. Last Remnant can't be turned into Gears of War and Gears of War can't be turned into Last remnant, even if both games were made using Unreal 3 engines.
If they planned ahead, then yes, we are likely to see them, but if they did not, it would be a lot of works to implement something we haven't seen yet.
Sorry but if you really believe that FFXIV can't do character defeated enemy X building Y now blows up you really don't know much about how programming works. =P
How much interaction have you seen with the environment? They don't even have working elevator, it's another goddamned text menu.
I'm sure they are able to load a building model and blow it up, but I have yet to see any dynamics terrain or anything I would consider remotly impressive. It doesnt seem to be implemented, and it's unlikely that they come up with something great at the moment.
That isn't really their style. That's more of a WoW thing... I'm sure they prefer to keep those for mission cutscenes or important quest cutscenes.
That's part of the problem, in my opinion. Sitting there and watching a cutscene with no interaction really doesn't do it for me anymore in an MMO. Dynamic content, on the other hand, really grabs you and pulls you into a living world. It really makes a huge difference in livening up the world. Rift and to a more drastic example, GW2, are pretty much build around them.
