Well, trio is much easier than duo because of the hate reset crap. Two melees is a huge improvement over one. Try doing it just mage + melee and see how easy it seems. Also I have no idea about PUP or how they do Shoggoth, I just heard that it's possible.

i'd presume poison pot spam with eraser on the auto or ignore poison pots and just hope your auto is in a cure spammy mode

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure shoggoth was being soloed by Rdms at 75 using terrain pathing. You'd have to check out the old VNM threads to find out which zone and general area but most zones had some kind of pathing trick if I remember.

How feasible is Amun to lowman? I haven't tried stunning the -gas with dnc sub but assuming you can and you get a clean pull would it be possible? I know it's not the best idea since you're limited to pretty few red procs as nin/dnc but just wondering if anyone has tried it.

i've done it a few times nin war whm and i've seen a few rdm/nin's solo it so are you looking to duo it or would 3 be low enough?

If you have some kind of MDT set and a WHM you can just shower in whatever Amun throws at you really.

I think 3 man is the safest. With a ls buddy who is mnk and has a whm mule we can trio it quite easily and have every proc for red except freezebite/shadowofdeath/raidenthrust which is 10/13 procs. Would be 11/13 if either of us had that event pitchfork because it's all jobs.

Is this some kind of joke? Any melee + a whm can kill it, with several links. It is no worse than any of the other free spawning NMs (the only remotely challenging duos in scars zones is Tunga or Warbler) If you're going to bring a 3rd person make it war or drk if you are trying to farm KI.

You'd be surprised. He is right though, anyone with half a brain stem and a whm can kill it easily even with multiple adds (although I would be careful on spacing chars so the whm doesnt get sleepgad more than you have catholicons to throw at them >.>).

I've been meaning to try this for awhile now, but I kept putting it off till I finished my Almace. Finally gave it a shot... and it was pretty easy.

I had to trim the video as closely as possible, and run it at x1.25 speed to get it below 15 mins so I could upload it. -_-

Afterthoughts.

Looking back on this solo, and during it for that matter, I noticed a lot of things that could have been done better.

Firstly, subjob. There wasn't really any need for /rdm. Didn't need refresh or fast cast. Probably should have gone /whm. Haste and -na spells would have been useful. I was counting on blocks preventing all the ws inflicted statuses, and completely forgot about the ninjutsu enfeebles. Nins are... annoying.

Red curry bun instead of yellow.

Powder boots weren't really needed to pull, just fun.

I tried to use fealty for Mijin, but it got para'd anyway. Should have saved it for charm, assuming it'd block it.

Wasn't very careful about the hume's shadows, lost two chants to them. /stupid.

Could have slept up 300% TP to start for lvl 3 Aftermath.. And used TP wing for self light.

I was switching to a WS DMG+ sword and using atonement during PD and invincible to maintain some DMG out put. But now that I think about it, I probly would have got more DMG overall out of waiting and saving 200~300% TP for lvl 2~3 Aftermath.

All in all, I went in kinda half-assed and kicked the shit outta it. I might try it again with some improvements sometime. Try for a ~15 min clear time so I can make a video that's not sped up.

Blinking out is just annoying. Even if its just me doing it. I miss animations and such going off, and sometimes don't notice things when that happens. So I prefer to not blink on my screen. Thank god for BMN or I'd just be stuck with it. <,<

So, if I wanted to attempt Chlevnik as NIN/DNC, what should I know that wasn't already said about KB on the first 2 pages? How would you handle flame armor without SS/phalanx? Does forcing kickout prevent it or just reduce frequency?

Tunga is a Joke for a summoner Garuda > Break/Stonega/crappy random stone spells, pred claws kinda sucks tho cos of his gay evasion at times, just bring a WAR to proc/die lol
