I've been meaning to try this for awhile now, but I kept putting it off till I finished my Almace. Finally gave it a shot... and it was pretty easy.

I had to trim the video as closely as possible, and run it at x1.25 speed to get it below 15 mins so I could upload it. -_-

Afterthoughts.

Looking back on this solo, and during it for that matter, I noticed a lot of things that could have been done better.

Firstly, subjob. There wasn't really any need for /rdm. Didn't need refresh or fast cast. Probably should have gone /whm. Haste and -na spells would have been useful. I was counting on blocks preventing all the ws inflicted statuses, and completely forgot about the ninjutsu enfeebles. Nins are... annoying.

Red curry bun instead of yellow.

Powder boots weren't really needed to pull, just fun.

I tried to use fealty for Mijin, but it got para'd anyway. Should have saved it for charm, assuming it'd block it.

Wasn't very careful about the hume's shadows, lost two chants to them. /stupid.

Could have slept up 300% TP to start for lvl 3 Aftermath.. And used TP wing for self light.

I was switching to a WS DMG+ sword and using atonement during PD and invincible to maintain some DMG out put. But now that I think about it, I probly would have got more DMG overall out of waiting and saving 200~300% TP for lvl 2~3 Aftermath.

All in all, I went in kinda half-assed and kicked the shit outta it. I might try it again with some improvements sometime. Try for a ~15 min clear time so I can make a video that's not sped up.

So, if I wanted to attempt Chlevnik as NIN/DNC, what should I know that wasn't already said about KB on the first 2 pages? How would you handle flame armor without SS/phalanx? Does forcing kickout prevent it or just reduce frequency?

Nah. Even though I assumed that af feet would let me just run from meteors whenever I'm not stunned, I brought a WHM friend to test the waters first. In retrospect, it would've been smarter to bring a RDM instead, but both are fine anyway. I might go again in a duo just to check if a dark resist set could help a nin solo at all, but I'll wait a bit on that. Seems like noone in EU times wants to actually pay for tongues.

I think any migawari strat with a -HP macro would run out of time with all the kiting needed to avoid getting stunned just before migawari is down so I won't even try that.

Chlevnik is harder than KB anyways. It has TP regain which makes any kind of running strategy prone to random Thunderbolts. I also think its occurrence rate for casting Meteor might be higher too. I never really clocked it though, just an anecdotal observation. I'll clock next KB fight and Chlevnik fight to see.

Not solo but my friend killed Shinryu w/o brew WHM WAR THF and he dboxed WAR and WHM. Pretty surprising for me >.>

Not really noteworthy but it's just something to know when the BCNM is open lol. Was my first attempt at a solo after seeing how easy it was trioed. Was really sloppy but really easy, didn't need the meds at all if I didn't rush it. Video stopped towards end so had to turn it back on, only 20 seconds from last view.

(Actually, after the tally just now, Sandy is only missing La Vaule, which I haven't seen in... forever. Other 2 nations/northlands is still pretty half assed though)

someone asked if the Behemoth BCNM is soloable? no its not i've done it duo on bst and trio on nin blm whm, the problem is the highly damaging meteor which will drop your hp to red luckily his acc is pretty bad vs lv 90 ninja
