Also, some Relics are competitive with Empyreans at level 90, and others have uses even if they aren't very competitive DD-wise. DD Mythics are ho-hum in general, except for Ryunohige which is awesome. Empyreans fill in all the other gaps.

Morri legs - Best Grudge piece and probably best cure piece. MAB augment would make it even better.
Morri hands - might beat Ehands(Ulhuadshi) after augments for RDM but probably have no chance to beat BLM and BLU af3+2
Morri head - I hope its gonna beat maats hat for Grudge after augment (which shouldnt be hard) :D
Morri feet - Best Savage Blade piece? ( I know none care :D ) Might be good for Zorro after augment since there is not really much feet piece for this.

Ares's Body - Torcleaver, Camlann's Torment go! Its very possible that after augment(+STR) it will be best also for Ukko's, Drakes, etc.
Ares's Head - With some strong dex augment it might be best for Zorro for PLD.
Ares's hands - Very possible that with augments they will be best for Torcleaver for DRK
Ares's legs - Arguably best legs for Zorro and Ukko's(Definitely best outside abyssea for Ukko's)
Ares's feet - Best for Torcleaver for PLD(?)

Usukane legs - 2nd best for Vsmite(and best outside abyssea), best Vsmite and Pummel for PUP, 2nd best fudo(?) after augment might beat Hlegs and be best for Fudo,Vsmite
Usukane feet - Best TP feet for SAM,NIN,PUP and possibly for MNK while wearing full usu for hybrid haste+eva tanking.
Usukane hands - best evasion hands for MNK,SAM,PUP and best counter hands for MNK.

Skadi Feet - movement go
Skadi Legs, Body, Hands, Head - might have or might have not potential for good augments :D

Grim Cuirass +1 beats Valhalla Body for PDT but obviously not MDT...

All the situational AF1+1 like THF hands is still generally as useful as it used to be, but the vast majority of AF1+1 were minor upgrades that are now totally outclassed by AF3+2. Good thing I got my http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Wa...s_Chapeau_%2B1, the +1 INT totally made it competitive for nuking with my http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Es...s_Chappel_%2B2, etc. Understandably, the desire for Limbus is essentially gone.

I turned in my SMN feet for upgrading, thinking I would never see the base empyrean feet because feet were super rare... that same day we went feet farming and 3 SMN feet dropped >.> I guess it worked out ok since it took me a while to get from 74 to 81.

AF+1 that I know is still useful:

DRG legs for Healing Breath
WHM hands if you cap your cure potency without Augur's Gloves/Hexa Strike

If magic accuracy becomes relevant again, these might be useful but the upgrade is so minor:
BLM hands
WHM body
RDM hat

SCH body is still marginally relevant as an inventory saver. It has +5 hMP for outside of Abyssea (Savant's Gown +2 is only +1 refresh /sadface) and is still your best body for Drain/Aspir.

I still see a lot of shouts for coins.

I completely missed out on Sky, so I am in need of a Genbu's Shield to go with my Owleyes. Also, the god's weapons are storageable, which is nice for red trigger weapons (Seiryu's Sword, Suzaku's Scythe).

Morri hands are 5mab Ulhuadshi hands are 7 mab I dont think its much to hope for.
Morri head to beat maat for Grudge needs +3MND that soooo much...
Morri feet needs like +6DEX to be one of the best Zorro piece for BLU
Ares's Body is 8 att and 4STR short of Grim +1 thats again not much
Ares's Head is truly my mistake i forgot about twilight.
Ares's legs are 4str short of Hlegs and from what I remember Byakko's had augment +6STR
Usukane Legs are 4STR short of Hlegs too.

Homam feet - Best BLU tp piece, good THF TP piece for 4/5 set (tho I'm hearing that ballerines, loki's are better but its arguable probably. Imo Thf most of the time should spend in 4/5 af3+2 but including af3+2 feet and ocelot gloves)
Homam legs - Best Fast cast macro piece
Homam body - Shit so far
Homam hands - Depends but Ocelots are better most of the time
Homam head - shit

Nashira head - Best spell interruption piece
Nashira body - Dark magic macro piece

Definitely the helm is but technically you can get better -% phys on Grim +1 and have -5% magic on Doomvoid KA. I'd still prefer the body though.

It's easy enough to cap MDT and PDT that neither piece is worth wasting 4 nights for 12 people for a shot at them. The Einherjar ship has sailed, which makes Mythics that much harder.
