Did you not learn anything from the FoV Augmentation system, or the Augmented items found from quests in Abyssea, or the augmented items from Trophies ? You're hoping for the fucking world and then some, as well as a really big sundae with a really big cherry on top, with an extra smaller cherry on top just to make you happy...but you're going to get this:

Didn't SE say that if you didn't like the augments on the synergy-augment system that you could remove it and try again? (such as on an Ares's Cuirass if, god forbid, it got something silly like that).

It's easy enough to cap MDT and PDT that neither piece is worth wasting 4 nights for 12 people for a shot at them. The Einherjar ship has sailed, which makes Mythics that much harder.

Ya it's just nice to have gear that doubles up on uses and doesn't take up as much inventory. I'm hoping we see a similar update to einherjar as they seem to be doing to dynamis soon. Granted I'm not sure exactly how you could do that with einherjar but we'll see. As a side note I'm guessing the majority of people can probably beat einherjar with 8 or less people reliably. People did it before and our damage against these lower level mobs has improved significantly.

Wasnt aware you could remove the synergy augs, cuz honestly, I stopped reading at augment with all the epic fails the augment system has delivered. But, lets presume it'll work like evoliths...farm up evolith, synergize with evolith, shit augment, remove evolith, evolith breaks, you need new evolith. As far as I know, thats how the current evolith system works, if you unsocket any gear, because the evolith system is WAY too situationally made, you lose the evolith?

First of all they showed some example of those augments on byakko haidate and they said they will match +1 and in some cases +2 items.
Since Byakko Haidate had +6STR -2DT or PDT idk whats wrong in hoping on +5STR on usukane legs.
On top of that they said it wont be possible to get bad (-stats -HP etc) augments and you can erase it and try again so yeah I hope you joked because what you said is super dumb.

EDIT: Oh yeah I forgot. On my Limbus items list there is not even word about augments so that alone shows you like to write but not really like to read..

On the subject of solo'ing, are there any events that are lvl75 capped? I remember going through BCs back in the day that had the level-cap icon even when at 75, am a bit curious if that has any effect at trying to do them at 90.

I have been more under the impression that the new augment system will be a random augment that you can re-synergize. If that's the case, then each piece probably has a stat cap dependent upon the gear level. So you couldn't get a lot of STR on a piece that already had a lot of STR, for instance.

I think BCNMs and KSNMs that were 75 were uncapped and remained like this but ENMs might be capped at 75 and I want to be wrong here cuz I was thinking about doing some for Martial Knife and Martial Staff.

I'm pretty sure they will have caps but I'm also fairly sure that augment STR will be possible on something that already have STR and will be limited to a point of af3+1 for nq and af3+2 for hq. For istance Ares's legs will probably has nq STR 10 cap and hq STR12 cap. Its all assumptions I know but at least based on info we got not on some "OMGtheyLetMeDownSoManyTimesTheyWillDoItAgain" feelings.

No I'm pretty sure that SE will let me sit at the synergy Furnace and keep synerging until my Usukane Legs have STR+4 augment for a total of +10STR.


@Draylo Actually we know more. Only synergy skill will be needed for this and it will be low skill needed for NQ and high for HQ.

If you guys really think that +4 to single attribute is overestimating augment possibilities then I'm done writing about this topic.

Well we don't know for sure that the upgrades are all via synergy, that would be a bit lazy. I've seen Michelob quote this on several occasions:

Q: Are there any plans to provide a means to upgrade equipment from Salvage, Einherjar, Nyzul, and so forth? I put a great deal of effort into obtaining these items, but these days they feel underpowered.
