Revisiting Legend of Dragoon

I still pray every day for a remake/sequel. My team was Dart/Kongol/Rose for most of the game. I tried to switch in Albert but never really grew on me. I recently tried replaying and was gonna do Dart/Meru/Haschel just because I barely used the last two through any of my plays. Had to stop short though since my ps controllers broke and I have not really gone on to replace them yet -.-;;;.

Fucking nostalgia overload. Toughest boss themes of it's time.

This one usually meant that the boss easy but had one bullshit move.

This theme usually meant this boss was fucking your shit up if you played like a noob.

I remember having one hell of a time beating the game toward the end there. I finally broke down and had to buy 3 sets of that god armor stuff. I remember spending hours upon hours sitting in a desert waiting on beetles because that was where I could farm money the fastest. ;_;

I recently found this game among all my old ps games and was thinking about a replay. This thread fuels that desire even more lol.

And am I the only one who used Shana/Miranda for their god like healing powers? Also Meru's attacks were just plain funny, tiny girl with giant hammer.

Nope. I used Shana/Miranda all the time as well lol. Once you get their dragon to the max they can transform back and forth extremely fast without much effort.
If I could pick I'd use Shana though, didn't really like Miranda as a character.
I did alternate characters depending on boss fights though.

I could never get into Shana or Miranda due to their lack of additions. God, I don't know how difficult it would've been to just give them some bow combos.

Fuck. I never beat this game, I had something fall on my disc 3 and crack it in half midway through.

And Lavitz was boss as fuck, his death hit me harder than Aeris. Using Albert felt like being a child who went through divorce and one of the parents remarried. YOU'RE NOT MY REAL WIND DRAGOON D:

This game and Legend of Legaia were my shit back in the day.

I remember the final boss being a pain in the ass, my team was Dart/Albert/Haschel.

My cousin played the game through before me and I used to sit in and watch sometimes so I remember when he was pissed that Lavitz died cause additions with Albert were slightly faster. lol

This game takes me back but this was the era of hilarious voice acting. FIVE-RING SHATTERING!
