Final Fight was good for its time, before SoR of course, but once Bark Knuckle/Streets of Rage hit the scene... there was a sharp decline in the popularity of the Final Fight series and for good reason.
The Streets of Rage series is just better, plain and simple.


SoR > Final Fight
SoR2 > Final Fight 2
SoR3 > Final Fight 3


Note that all of these games are fun as hell though, played the fuck out of all of em. I haven't played Streetwise and doubt I ever will but eh... anyway, SoR 2 is always going to be my favorite just because of the awesome music on every fucking stage.
