Clint Eastwood for Vimes. Except he doesn't act any more, he's like 30 years too old for the part, and he probably sounds ridiculous talking in anything but a Clint Eastwood accent. Hugh Laurie could probably do it well; sometimes as House he looks quite a bit like the Paul Kidby version of Vimes.

I look forward to it anyway; the most recent Discworld TV production was fairly awesome. Just hope they don't make any more idiot mistakes like casting David Jason as Rincewind again.

Ehhh, I'll take it.

Like, Lucifer would be better if it had more to do with the comics, but what it is manages to be watchable.

The Watch would be better if it had more to do with the books, but, it looks like it'll be watchable.
