Not going to sell my copy. But check online for the Final Fantasy XI: Vanadiel Collection for the PS2. They did a smaller run of discs, but its everything you need in one package.

That's the thing, the only posting i see for it is on amazon for a ridiculous price ($75-150!)

Basically, I have no idea what price to aim for

In my opinion, you shouldn't aim for any. Discontinued games won't earn their developers any money, and that doesn't change if you buy them second-hand. Therefore, in cases like these, I encourage tracking down backups (or asking others to create them for you).

Since you surely have a fat PS2, you'll need a blank memory card, and will want to pursue this:

    http://sksapps.com/index.php?page=launchers.html

You can probably find a good tutorial/information on game launchers via GBATemp.net or another such website. I couldn't quickly find one for you, else I'd have provided it.

Afterward, call local, independent gaming stores and ask if they have Swap Magic, or buy one online from a trustworthy reseller. There are other methods that don't require purchasing a product like Swap Magic, but I personally believe it simplifies things, and provides you with another backup-playing option as well.

Lastly, either locate torrents containing ISOs online or ask someone to make duplicates for you, then burn with ImgBurn/use them to install FFXI and its related expansions on your PS2 HDD.

You'll not only save the money you would have wasted on used discs, but you'll also open your PS2 up to running homebrew and other backups.

Wow, thank you so much for all of that Kohan! Very much appreciated.

I have a buddy with the swap magic discs so I'll just borrow those. I just figured it wouldn't work with that dNAS thing they have for constant verification, but I will give it a shot!

And yeah, I guess I'll modify this thread to: "Anyone have an ISO of the FFXI Vana'diel Collection for PS2 or later iterations of it?" lol

It's a tough one to find on the internet these days.

I may be able to make ISO rips of the discs. Although I do not play on PS2, one of my roommates does.

I make no promises, as I still have to update the PC patch torrent too, but if I can find the time, I'll do it within the next week.

I can get a hold of a Vanadiel Collection 2008 brand new for PS2 for significantly cheaper than what you mentioned. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

This will be slow for now (as the only seed is on a cable connection that isn't up 24/7), but I'll remedy this ASAP by providing MegaUpload mirrors and a FIOS seed. I strongly recommend downloading the contents piece by piece (e.g., one ISO at a time) in the interim.

The MegaUpload files will consist of the ISOs only (and one CUE for the first CD-ROM). These should be uploaded by tomorrow morning, and I'll provide the links when they are. The other, smaller files can be grabbed from the torrent easily.

EDIT: Here are the first two files, which I recommend burning with ImgBurn. Since it's a CD-ROM, make sure you try burning it to a CD-R, as a DVD-R won't work. You can use them to test whatever exploit you've decided to go with:

    01 - PlayOnline and TetraMaster CD-ROM: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M3Y07CWK
    02 - PlayOnline and TetraMaster CD-ROM CUE Sheet: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZYYPPIY8

EDIT: I have noticed that you are trying to connect to the torrent, but no data is transferring. It will likely be better for you to grab the MegaUpload files when they're complete, which should happen by this afternoon/evening.

    Not a problem.

Since no one has downloaded anything from it anyway, I'll probably replace the torrent above with one that contains the zip files, which should make it easier for others to seed (if they wish to do so).

    EDIT: Uploading is complete.
