PSP CFW
What's good for a PSP-1000 system now? I see about 4 different lines of CFW now, and it's been almost 2 years since I last updated, and I'm currently on 5.50 M33 Gen-D3. I'm looking to play some newer games on the system, such as the latest Kingdom Hearts and Fat Princess.
I've heard of plugins for my current firmware to enable support that wants newer firmwares.
I'm also out of the loop on homebrew and emulation. Anything good for SNES and GBA? I'll post what I've currently got when I can check it. (Nester J 1.1 RM, UO gpSP kai 3.3 test 1 build 172, SNES TYL 0.4.2)
Any changes for the PS1 support to be aware of (popstation)?

Weaboo of the House of Weave
Isn't 6.35 PRO-D the newest one?
I'm not recommending anything, just throwing out my assumed knowledge

Nothing's really changed, though newer versions of some emulators are out. You can sometimes find repackaged versions of the newer psp games that will run on older cfw or you can do the modification yourself so you never have to upgrade cfw (it's a little tedious though). Some of the newer cfw might only work with 2000 or higher as well, so do some research before upgrading if you do upgrade.
A lot of info is fragmented around in different places because so much is being updated a lot now, but two good places come to mind: psp-hacks.com for interesting psp stuff/downloads and pspmod.com for their forums. Start in pspmod forums and see what people have to say about the newer cfw. I'm personally still with 5.50 gen-d3+prom4, which was needed for kh:bbs.

You can use 6.20 or 6.35 with TN Enabler if you want to, but there's hardly any reason to do that over 5.50.
