I just installed the new update for firefox and when it popped open, all my bookmarks folders were deleted except for one. Is there a way to recover the ones that were deleted or am I just boned and need to try and remember all of them?

Stuff like this is why I export my bookmarks to an HTML file on a regular basis, and use XMarks to sync them between my computers.
My Ubuntu install upgraded me to 4 yesterday, and I can't find some things, like my NoScript says it is installed and working, but I can't find the icon for it to actually change site settings since the status bar is gone. My bookmarks didn't disappear though.
my bookmarks were all intact, so it isnt happening to everyone. Dont know any way for you to salvage your old bookmarks though.
maybe one of these will help you see if the original information still exists

hit CTR+B and see if they ended up in Unsorted Bookmarks or something. I seem to recall that all of mine got dumped someplace weird.
Anyways, between Status-4-Evar and a bit of menu customizing I have it pretty much working just like I like it.
Downloaded then downgraded. My Page Up and Page Down button somehow turned into Page Forward and Page Back buttons which is incredibly annoying since I depend on these buttons with my life.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir...status-4-evar/I'm more sad about how they've finally done away with the status bar. Status bar 4 life, R.I.P...
oh really?

I have an issue of my own with Firefox is general. One window, the first one, locks up forcing me to have to open a second window to do anything. When you look at the pic below you'll see the minimize/expand/close buttons are faded out and when I click anywhere on the screen I get the "error" ding. Had this issue with 3.6 & has continued with 4. Google hasn't been any help so far, the issue popped up earlier in the week.
