Damn there are so many angry people in the section I swear. Can I ask why it matters if people dislike these chocobo's at all? Why do you feel the need to come and comment against their opinions? They removed like 90% of those stupid 2-inch invisible walls a while back. It's almost not even an issue anymore.

Unless it's explicitly marked as a line on the minimap there's hardly any ledges you can't traverse from what I've seen. Looks weird as fuck on my Lalafell though since I can run up those random 1-4ft inclines/humps at full speed. Still better than the hell that was beta though.


Chocobo music I'm indifferent towards. Would have preferred something a little more low-key like XI's, but 'eh, I'm already playing with the music off so whatever..

it's just trendy to bitch about xiv at this point. if you're not trendy you're obv. a loser white knight! off with your head! these will be the same people who will be bitching 10 patches from now that the game is still as horrible as it was at release. i wish the mod for this forum would keep them contained to the complaint thread (no white knighting allowed!).

I generally think everything about this game sucks, and because of perspective tend to judge things harshly from the get go with anything new.

But even I can't see what there is to bitch about with Chocobos being added. They look better than 11 chocobos did, don't see what is wrong with the music either really, especially given almost everyone I've ever known plays with the music off. If you do play with music I'm sure there is a way to dat swap a song file to change it to something preferrable?

The spaces have filled in quite a bit but still there is hulking gaps. I think I will eventually jump in and check this game out but still not going to be any time soon. I don't follow it nearly as closely as I did in the past, so when I do check up on it I guess I am more likely to be pleased with whats new than those who are chomping at the bit on the daily.

I'm not sure of the definition of a useful or non useful post. I personally would consider the the majority of posts in this whole forum useless if judged on the merits of their utility. Forums are serious business to some though I suppose.

The only gripe I have isn't about what is or what isn't being added, its the pace of it, shame that they can't get things out faster, you would think there would be a lot more sense of urgency with the year anniversary hitting in 4 days of when the CE went on sale.

Apparently the new hot topic on the Lodestone revolves around people pissing their pants that their endgame and leet gear will become absolete every 3 months. They wont be able to be the coolest E body wearing dude for 5 years.
