i don't know what synths you guys do but for alchemy and cooking mashing enter results in a lot of failures. (exp leves)

Fish synths! Magic Craftmanship gear, lotsa control, no problem (except when there are problems...)!
I'm not going to lie, I turbo'ed myself from 32 to 42 on Armorer once I figured out how to set it up on PS3 controller, there is no way I'm going to do the shit normally, the grind is too horrible.
I don't believe many people leveled their shit legitly.
Again, before this last patch you could not "turbo" your way through anything besides a single crafting leve, or a single non-leve recipe. So... you're implying that most people who have "leveled their shit" before then was straight-up botting?
I'm not saying there aren't a lot of bots because I do see them around, I just don't believe having a high-level craft or two means you botted or waited until 1.19 to rubber-band a couple pennies to your PS3 controller. Using a bot was the only way to significantly afk-craft before very recently.
was turboing like 550-647'ish a synth, lol.
I had 4200 iron squares saved though.
Yeah... No, you weren't.
His numbers do seem a little high unless he was using a manual, but I don't see how all you're getting from turbo/spam is 150. I was getting 350-450 (no manual) from 44-47 doing nothing beyond poking my enter key while watching TV series.
Either alchemy and tailoring are insanely hard compared to armory, or you're crafting in battle gear.
EDIT: Maybe I remember wrong, but didn't someone figure out the exp formula for crafting? Wouldn't be hard to see who's making numbers up if that's the case.
fuckin' nerds
I'm currently 36 and I get bunch of 40 leves, get engineering manual, and I get 1k per synth +2.5k reward. I can get about 20k in 10 min with that. Not too bad, never botted synths, never done any turbo or w/e you talking about. Last time I lvled BSM was January and this seems way better now.
500+ is a very dubious claim.
300-400 is more reasonable.
This was posted two days ago and seemed to have been missed. Nothing but, but possible lower exp requirements/increased exp gained at lower elvels.
Good evening everybody.
Thank you for all of your feedback. Many issues have been brought up, but I would like to discuss the issue of the difficulty of leveling up from a low level while soloing.
It is certainly easier to level up with a party and we understand the frustrations of players who have difficulty finding a party and players who enjoy soloing.
In patch 1.19a we adjusted the strength of lower level monsters, and we would like to add to this by making adjustments to how players with lower levels level up. We haven't decided the specifics of this adjustments, but we are currently looking in to lowering the experience points needed to level up, increasing EXP gained, increasing Guildleve EXP, or addressing other elements while keeping an eye on various balance issues. We will let you know when we make a decision.
We appreciate your continued feedback submission.
All they need to do is boost leve exp about 50% for the level 1, 10, and 20 leves. Or adjust the exp reward to be based on a % of your level's experience similar to how Behest does (or did), something like maybe 10% of TNL. While that would equate to 10 leves per level, it would end up being less from killing leve mobs and guardian favor (not to mention any trash mobs that might be killed, quests, or behests).
Leves and behest exp rewards still function as a % of your total TNL.
Kinda why they suck balls at low levels.
I'm leveling a lowbie job for the first time in ages, and it occurs to me that it would be quicker to powerlevel a second account to 40 or 50 and use that to powerlevel myself; rather than doing leves.
He would just be power-leveling two lowbies instead of normally leveling himself. Which is betta?
