I know that Goobue has been alluded to many times, but of all the things they could be wasting their time with, I can't believe THAT made the top of their to-do list.

This gobbue mount will ruin immersion. It can be hardly called final fantasy when you see everyone and there mother riding this thing around, you'll be looked at funny if you're caught riding a chocobo.

Sometimes I wonder if people know what certain words mean when they use them. Furthermore what's the reasoning for saying this exactly? How does it do so?

Methinks you just feel "it's stupid" and that's what you should have posted instead. IMO riding a goobbue mount is no more or less Final Fantasy than summoning Fat Chocobo for storing items. Yeah it's a silly concept, but they're known to throw those in from time to time.

Ahriman mount won't look any less silly (leg over each side of the eyeball).
Drake mount will inevitably be pretty rockin'. (At least I think I heard there would be one. feel free to shoot me if wrong)
Sheep mount for Lala or bust.

Oh and don't forget mounts will be possible party members ala Fellows from XI. Could be tactical uses I guess.

Seeing Gobbues awkwardly lumber around in fast forward at chocobo speeds would look incredibly silly (as if riding a gobbue wasn't silly enough to begin with).

Was there actually a demand for this outside of a temporary seasonal event novelty gimmick?

I think it looks hilariously awesome. I know my LS and I are going to have some laughs hauling ass around on these bastards.

I never really get why people get so mad/serious over this stuff. Most people are probably going to use Magitek armor or the armored chocobos when they come out anyway.

i would have much ratherd them spend time on making multi colored chocos (gold,black,blue,red,green) than put in 1 well outa placed goobue mount...

supposedly the utility of the gobbue mount is to forgo aggro. At least thats what I remember reading somewhere
